At the Mass, the crucifixion is remembered. It's a remembrance,,,as if the congregation were standing at the cross. If one understands this, it's actually very beautiful. I think it would be nice to receive communion at every service like some churches do.

Thanks Mary. I've been undecided about this. What I can't understand is how one of the commandments could be changed.

You should not respond in kind. Two wrongs don't make a right. Just post what is correct.

I've looked, and I can't find any evidence from the ECF that the Eucharist was celebrated on Sunday. In the Didache, for instance, it says "on the day of the Lord". Jesus was found gone from the tomb on the first day of the week. That would be Sunday. I'm sure you've gone through this,,,I just...

The point was that you should emulate him. In the good He did. Not use the Woes as an excuse to mistreat people.

No. You're here to give Catholicism, which holds many truths, a bad name. You're here to call people denigrating names. You're here to turn many against Catholicism. If you want to correct errors, you should do it as Jesus would... As one speaking with authority and love for his fellow man.

I know what you mean. But you're not on that cross. So please don't compare yourself to Jesus.

P.S. You said Jesus was not always humble but scolded people, justifying yourself. Are you also going to Calvary like He did?

Definitely.

If we're disciples of Christ , we're required to follow Him, which means that we will be transformed And become more like Him. The word you might recognize is conversion. You're to become more loving, as Jesus would want. John 13:35

You're not Jesus.

You need another lesson. Our behavior demonstrates our love for God. Your behavior is not God-like. Jesus was humble and showed love for everyone he met.

bb said I fear the future. He's right. Sometimes I feel comforted by God and sometimes I don't.

Jesus said we must be born again. He meant now. John 3:3

I believe Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Sometimes I fear.

Bull's eye.

I like,,,perfect love drives out all fear. I'd like to really know this experientially. Sometimes I let fear take over. It's satanic.

You need more than one lesson in good manners.

Do you know every euphamism in the English language? Do you know every new one? So besides being a liar, now you call me a moron. And you just asked me for a post where you called someone a name! Pretty funny. BTW, post 1024 is yours. Did you ever read Mathew 5:3-10? You should. You might...
