Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

I think you are confusing deity with divinity. Angels are divine, in that they are 'of God.' Jesus, being the Son is also 'of God.' But neither are a deity. How many times does YHWH have to say he alone is our God? You do recognize that YHWH said this, right?

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Again, you are simply ignoring or denying the hierarchy of 1 COR 11:3. There is an in between and his name is Jesus. See 1 Timothy 2:5 (NLT) There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. You are speaking contrary to Scripture at every post.

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Including, 1st and foremost, his son. Fathers become so by creating sons (and daughters). There is absolutely nothing confusing about it.

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Robert you cannot answer a question with a question. What is the answer to the question of what specifically confuses you about Jesus not being God?

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Not sure why this is confusing. Scripture says that all glory goes to God and that Jesus, the Son of God, Liberating King, Savior of the world and our master (lord) is God's servant. Acts 3:13. Years ago I read a book about the real George Washington. At the end, the author pointed out that he...

Who/What is Jesus if not God?

No, you are not. If you were, you would read and not make derailing type posts. See post #33. It is another question that perhaps could be explored more in another thread. I asked my Bible Study leader a variation. Why did Jesus have to come when the OT said people had the Spirit of God...

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

Until is false, a trinitarian invention not found in Scripture. In fact it contradicts Scripture The Father, who alone is God, does not say he has a God. Jesus says he has a God. Do you recognize that?

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

I see where you are going. Trinitarianism is Earthly. Unitarianism is Spiritual and Biblical, consistent with definition, logic and language usage.

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

Are you aware that you replaced the Father in my post with God? You changed the reference point and then claim there's no dispute. Very intellectually dishonest. I'll pray for you. What is your purpose in posting in this thread, since it is not asking for an apology of trinitarianism? You seem...

    Apparently you do.

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

Figurative use of language that God's word is God. Kind of like Emperor Palpatine saying he is the Senate.

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

A common trinitarian tactic is to always change the subject. There are always supposedly 'other' verses that 'support' their doctrine. We were talking about how John 1:1 is about God not Jesus. I'm not going to chase your tail.

My Life Was Just a Loaf of Bread

Good to hear. I've always believed in the BODY-MIND-SPIRIT triangle of priorities. I suppose this sets me apart from mystics who have it upside down. You've been on my mind and I hope you are doing well.

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

Well, nonsense is unfathomable. Said differently, this is THE insult I have heard for decades, pretending the only reason one rejects the claim is because one does not understand the claim. I understand the trinitarian claim. I reject the trinitarian claim. How did Jesus teach us to pray? As a...

My Life Was Just a Loaf of Bread

Sometimes I feel like Jesus on the cross when he said, "Forgive them Father, for the know not what they do." Some people, in ignorance, though well intending, make matters worse. If you PM me your address, I'll send you some food.

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

You mean like, Jesus not being God?

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

Proving again that the Father is the giver, Yahweh, God alone.

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

That's a big league assumption on a verse or 2 there that does not offset the 1,000's of times God is referred to using singular pronouns.
