Just to establish a baseline, how is this question different from praise for one having other important relationships? I spent time with them, talk and listen, defer to them out of love, love and forgive, etc.

Why do you say that since it is evident that church bashing is largely based on doctrinal condemnation?

I'm honestly not familiar with these terms, Berean response or Thessalonica. We post on-line to share our original thoughts, not just reference the thoughts of others, right?

Ground already covered. Jesus did not teach us to pray to him and said in John 4:22-23 that true worshippers worship the Father. Regarding who I depend on for my salvation; God and his servant Jesus. Acts 3:26. You may have missed the many posts on agency. Question: Does Jesus act on his own...

My existence as a Christ follower proves you wrong. Once does not have to believe Aristotle is God, or any man to be a God in order to follow that man.

I do prefer reading plans that divides Scripture into 4 parts: OT, Psalms, Proverbs & NT. Psalms and Proverbs are unique in that each chapter is not an unfolding story. So, I prefer to delve into day by day as opposed to reading for rather long stretches with no story with beginning, middle...

It's unclear if this post is meant to rebuke my post. However, having faith is NOT the same thing as a doctrinal purity test. If the verse you cited specifically listed doctrinal purity requirements, that would be different. Correct me if I am wrong, but it is my understanding we are to have...

Must see Must see ... Part 2 Must see ... Part 3 Must see ... Part 4

Deut 18:15 does not say The LORD your God will incarnate. It is important to realize the importance of what Scripture says and the implications of what it does not say. Deut 18:15 does not say The LORD your God will raise up for you the 2nd person of the trinity. It says the one who is raised...

One of the many levels in which the trinity is wrong is to downplay Jesus' accomplishment. As a man, only a man, he went to the cross for us - while we were still enemies of his God! This is love and devotion that is other worldly. It is not enough to say that Jesus sacrificed his life. He was...

One of the most important truths. He tells you to go west: me south. Neither of us our wrong in the different directions we are going as both of us are obeying the Holy Spirit.

LOL. Like I said, the worst English translation available today.

I call this "Spirit led" reading. I have been deeply into the Bible over the last 3 years, since my wife got me into it. I tend to do 1 year devotional reading in the morning + "Spirit led" reading in the evening. However, I confess that I am beginning to feel a bit burnt out. I think the...

I did read a headline of a 2 year reading plan and why they are better.

I just finished One Year Bible Online. Before that, I used the reading plan that came with my Every Man's Bible NLT. Before that, my wife gave me a Devotional Bible automatically broken up into daily reading plans. Unfortunately, it is NKJV translation, which was essentially unreadable to me...

This thread is not about a global church or babylon. It's like we are having 2 different conversations. If you want to talk about Babylon and a global church, you should start your own thread.

Again, I do not understand what you are asking. Why so cryptic? Feel free to consult your favorite lexicon regarding the meaning of 'bashing' from any euphemism bashers invoke, e.g., rebuking, discussing, protesting, etc.

With all due respect, you are putting more responsibility on people than required. Some people are not good students but can find good teachers and have faith in what those who have the capacity to seriously study say. A most important Bible tool. Fact is, most people at the time of Jesus and...

I have no idea what you are asking but it seems like the answer is no.

The Holy Spirit sealed my salvation. When one has the experience of the Holy Spirit reaching out to you, how could there be doubt?
