Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Nothing like historical revisionism. Whatever makes you sleep at night, I guess. The divorce from Christ's Catholic Church that is Protestantism came about when arrogant. spiritually-prideful men like Luther, Zwingili, Calvin, et al decided that they know better than God. You're just a...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Not sure what the "Romanist" Church is and I've never heard of it. That CATHOLIC Church, however is the Church instituted by Christ. You can whine about it all day long and the facts remain: - We can PROVE it is - and document that proof. - YOU can only go back as far as the 16th century -...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

A mere typo. It is Romans 6:23 that tells us the wages of sin is DEATH. Again - Jesus PAID the price. He ISN'T the price. That's as moronic as saying that I bought a loaf of bread so I am the price of that bread.

I'll stop exposing you when YOU stop telling lies. How 'bout that? PS - Spewing nonsense like Catholic and Christian systems are "vastly different" is as moronic as not understanding that a square is a rectangle . . .

    Crucifixion Day

This hypocrisy coming from a person who constantly breaks the forum rules by charging that Catholics aren't Christian. Do you actually read what you write - or do you count on others to expose your hypocrisy??

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

And the attitude that Christ's Church doesn't have Authority is precisely why there are tens of thousands of disjointed, perpetually-splintering factions - ALL teaching different doctrines yet ALL claiming to have the "Truth." This doesn't include the countless millions of "Lone Ranger" and...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

No, Scripture ISN'T wrong - and that's my point. Rom. 6:3 says that the price for sin is death. YOU say, it's Jesus. I'll go with the Bible . . .

    Crucifixion Day

There is nothing wrong with what I said. I never called anybody a name and I merely stated that their point of view was Scripturally-bankrupt - because it IS. Exposing falsehoods is never popular - especially to those to spread them . . .

    Crucifixion Day

I quoted Colossians 2 because YOU were passing judgment on those who eat pork. Can you say, "Hypocrisy"?? As for not celebrating the Birth and Resurrection of Christ - that is up to you but there is no good reason for it. The Bible doesn't support the idea of "Lone Ranger" Christians. But...

    Crucifixion Day

More evidence of your Scripturally-bankrupt point of view. Acts 10:9-16 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a...

I'm not "rattled". I simply have contempt for unsubstantiated lies and fairy tales. You do a really pitiful job of researching your "facts" - then you try to p[ass them off as "truth". It doesn't matter that you're not a Christian. Just try telling the truth. Oh, that's right - telling the...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Wrong. NOWHERE does Scripture even IMPLY that Jesus is death. It DOES say - explicitly, I might add, than death is the price of sin (Rom. 6:3).

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Good grief - your inability to discern the Word of God is astounding, given how much you debate. It speaks of God's PROTECTION. Your problem is that you're such an absolutist and a Scriptural literalist that it blinds you to the obvious.
  14. BreadOfLife

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

No - He PAID the price, which was death (Rom. 6:3). HE is not the price.

And your blunder was going to "wikipedia" to learn about doctrine. That's like watching the History Channel to learn about history instead of revisionism that it teaches. Do some REAL research. Educate yourself and stop believing lies just because everybody else believes them . . .

    Crucifixion Day

And this is utter ignorance. The whole "Easter/Ishtar" nonsense is based on mostly American ignorance. First of all - Ostern/Easter is most likely derived from "erstehen", which is the old Teutonic form of "auferstehen/auferstehung" meaning "resurrection". In many countries - variations of the...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

No -it's protection - NOT salvation. God protects wicked people sometimes in order to do His will. That doesn't mean that they're saved.

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Illustrating once more that you have absolutely NO grasp on what redemption is. Also - Jesus PAID the price of sin - He isn't the price for sin. The price of sin is DEATH. Jesus is LIFE.

    9/23/17, Rev 12:5, X etc..

WOW. All I can say is - start having faith in God and stop listening to these Youtube charlatans.

If the belief is unsubstantiated nonsense - then it's nonsense. Christianity is a religion that is demonstrated by evidence . . .
