Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Why do you keep cherry-picking the Scriptures?? You keep posting 1 John 1:9 as if it is a stand alone verse with no other implications. Read it in CONTEXT: 1 John 1:6-19 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Well, I can't say that your bizarre understanding of "redeem" is based on ignorance because I've given you the definition several times now. The fact that you refuse to accept the definition speaks more to your spiritual pride. ONE more time: To "Redeem" means that something is paid for. Jesus...

    Resurrection Day

Apparently, you didn't read the post. The Jews reckoned ANY PART of a day as an entire day. The Jewish day didn't begin with sunrise - but with SUNSET. I even gave you the OT example of when Esther asked the people to pray and fast for three DAY and NIGHTS - and it turned out to be only PART...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Unless you can re-word your questions - I have absolutely NO idea what you're talking about. I have amply answered BOTH questions. If you want to continue to play games - might I suggest you grow up?

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

There Bible doesn't speak of TWO kinds of redemption - but ONE. Either Jesus paid for ALL or He paid for NOBODY. You're professing an even more twisted version of the false Calvinist doctrine of Limited Atonement.

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

YOU have been in Heaven?? What is it like because I've NEVER seen it - and neither have YOU. I've never been to Hell, either - so what, exactly are you talking about?? 1 John 1:9 does NOT say we were once in Heaven. THIS is what I mean about the "cryptic" and nonsensical posts of yours.

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

The definition of "Redeemed" is "Paid for" - like when you redeem aluminum cans at the recycling center. If you have a different definition - it is of your own invention.

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

I've already answered your questions. Read them SLOWLY. Not really sure how much more I can "dumb"them down. I don't know what you mean by "back into Heaven" when we were never there to begin with.

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

Wrong. EVERYBODY has been paid for. NOT everybody cooperates with God's grace. MOST will reject it (Matt. 7:13-14). You are professing the false Calvinist fairy tale of Limited Atonement.

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

I'm not "ignoring" anything. I'm trying to decipher your cryptic and badly-worded posts. For the THIRD TIME: 1. If we don't repent of and confess our sins - they are NOT FORGIVEN (1 John 1:9, James 5:16). I don't know how much clearer I can be. 2. Christ's intercession is for our...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

When did I say, "forgiving of them"? I said, "We MUST confess our sins or we are not forgiven of them (1 John 1:9, James 5:16)." This means that unless we repent of and confess our sins, we are not forgiven. This is what the Bible says.
  12. BreadOfLife

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

"Redeemed" in the Protestant world is a misused term, which simply mean "Paid for". We are ALL paid for but NOT all will cooperate and be saved
  13. BreadOfLife

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

And EVERYBODY has been paid for. Unfortunately NOT all will choose top accept this gift. God wills the salvation of ALL people (1 Tim. 2:4) but NOT all will be saved.
  14. BreadOfLife

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

WRONG. ALL people who ever lived are redeemed (paid for). Charles Manson is paid for. Adolf Hitler is paid for. Whether they chose to repent is between them and God. Jesus paid for ALL - but NOT all will be saved.

    Resurrection Day

Unless you understand how the Jews reckoned a “day” – then you will never understand the fact that Jesus was in the tomb for “three days”. ANY part of a day was reckoned a “day” in Jewish culture. We see OT examples of this such as when Esther asked the people to pray for “3 days and nights”...

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

More falsehoods . . . We MUST confess our sins or we are not forgiven of them (1 John 1:9, James 5:16). For YOU to say that you are "automatically" forgiven for all of your sins - past, present and future - without repenting, is a complete failure to understand the Gospel. Heb 7:25 Wherefore...
  17. BreadOfLife

Why is Christianity so focused on Sin?

This is a completely FALSE statement. Jesus has REDEEMED (paid for) all of us. We are not forgiven by "accepting forgiveness". We are forgiven by repenting of our sins.

Why do they hate being called Christians

WRONG. I've already illustrated with documented evidence that the Catholic Church goes all the way back to the Apostles. YOU, on the other hand have YET to show me that "aggressiveschristianity.com" goes back any further than 1980. Jesus equated himself with His Church (Acts 9:4-5) - not the...

    BABYLON CATHOLIC CHURCH

Just when I thought your posts couldn't get any more ignorant. Are you saying that Peter is talking about a PAGAN Church here in 1 Pet. 5:13?? Your ignorance is astounding . . .
  20. BreadOfLife

Why do they hate being called Christians

And you're part of the cult of aggressivechristianity, com. Where does that leave YOU?? As for the verses you just quoted (Acts 9:4-5) - Jesus equates his very self with his Church. He doesn't say ONE word about a cult created in 1980 or the "Generals" that run it . . .
