Believing In God Versus Knowing God

While I am OK with saying I know God, I also have to clarify that in no way am I attempting to claim that I know all about God. One thing that remains a mystery to me is God's timing. My wife and I said many times, if it were up to us, Jesus would have already returned by now.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Well, that's bad definition formation. IMO, you equating OSAS with God's faithfulness is a ruse. God always saves provided you accept the life preserver. Just because you accepted the life preserver yesterday in no way affects your current orientation of turning your back on the life preserver...

Believing In God Versus Knowing God

These are really different topics of conversation: Believing In God Versus Knowing God I still have doubts from time to time My pastor recently said the difference between belief and faith is belief is just words but faith is always tied to action. However, even that is not the same as the...

I have found that I do not always prefer the same translation. Depending on the verse, different translations speak more to me than others.

Atheist Resurrected Reads Bible in 6 Weeks

This is an amazingly powerful story. An atheist is dying. The Lord shows his mother he is dying. She prays for him to ask God to forgive him. He sees her in a vision her praying for him. His final act in life is to do as his mother prays, he prays with his heart for the Lord to forgive him. He...

Great question! Trinitarianism relies on dualism of contradictions.

No. Ink on parchment is but a shadow of the pure word of God. It is a reflection, an imperfect image like an image in moving water.

Has the Holy Spirit sealed you? When the Holy Spirit communicated to me, it was like telepathy. No word was heard, just thoughts put right into my mind. The same regarding Scripture. If you pray for the HS to guide you, you won’t go wrong - no matter what translation you might prefer...

    Once Saved Always Saved

We've been over this MANY times. For us there is one God the Father. This is the only part that matters in our conversation - unless you are trying to confuse things. God is synonymous with LORD, not Lord. We have one LORD God and one Lord - like we have one President and one mayor.

Because the trinity is not there - in the front door or any other door. 'For us, there is one God, the Father' 1 Corinthians 8:6

The trinity is not in the Bible. If it were you it would be the most quoted verse.
