SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

Just lurking but couldn't help but say something to this remark. My dear brother do you not realize that this could be said of you also? Brother Titus has responded to you with just as much scripture to debunk the interpenetration of yours as you have him. The problem is there is only one truth...

    Is smoking a sin?

The biblical definition of sin is a transgression of God's law. So is not smoking God's law? Maybe we lump it in where in fact the bible is silent?

    Is smoking a sin?

It does not seem like it cause you and a few other keep pointing to books written by man that you seem to hold to a higher level.

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

I went to bed last night to wake up to 5 new pages on this topic and all have different views and one in particular is just plain right out admittedly dismissing scripture for what it gives as the truth but clinging to some ridiculous head knowledge completely against scripture even when proven...

SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

Yes and that grace is salvation through the Lord and savior Jesus Christ by his words and believe it or not that does include the baptism in his name which connects us to the cross the main central point of the gospel of Christ.

    Is smoking a sin?

1 Timothy 5:23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. There is no condemnation in drinking a little it is when you continue to live in a drunkard stance that is condemned. I would say like wise with weed it has medical advantages and as...

Do you guys support any of the "non-mainstream" party candidates? Such as Nikki Haley, Andrew Yang, Jill Stein, Marianne Williamson?

Yes if he wins he can clean up the deep south and make way for the republicans to lead with new blood but no rhinos or crocked democrats

    Is repentance needed for salvation?

Just a note to self. Repentance does not mean forgiveness of sin God tells us to have our sins forgiven we must repent AND be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Forgiveness is granted through the baptism in the name of Jesus Christ not just upon repentance but by repenting and being baptized...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

If there is I am sure he can produce it but yes he does not use many scriptures to support his views just a lot of lip service.

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

God did tell you many places what baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was and what he does in the baptism and why we need to submit to it you just reject his word on it. God should not have to tell you over and over an obedient child would only need to be told once again your argument here is...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

why do we need one, really, we are told that we have to believe and be baptized. We are told that baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is for the remission of sin. Why can we not just believe that and trust in Gods word? Why do we need to be told that if we do not believe in baptism and reject...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

What happened to repentance and confession? It does not have to be repeated in every chapter of the bible. I know you are not that unlearned that you do not know that if it is mentioned at least once it is binding. We must trust and harmonize if we read that confession is required we know that...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

Yes you are about to figure this out. Yes both baptism were for the remission of sin,and the one inthe name of Jesus Christ is still to this day. Yes the thief on the cross was subject to the baptism of John, but whether he had been we do not know, but from scripture it appears he hadn't, but...

Do you guys support any of the "non-mainstream" party candidates? Such as Nikki Haley, Andrew Yang, Jill Stein, Marianne Williamson?

I really think think we need to vote Trump and let him finish draining the swamp. Life was better under him than where we are now. I feel he is the only one that can get us back on track and then we can move forward after that. It is coming out more and more that the election was fraudulent and...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

No sin was remitted in the baptism of John but the indwelling spirit was not given they only had their sin remitted and placed in a state of repentance if they repented as well but the sin was remitted in baptism not repentance. This does not matter either when it comes to the thief on the cross...

    OSAS being False Doctrine!

Well was the thief hung on the cross before the New covenant came into play or not if he was show scripture that proves it and then the argument solved. If not then yes Acts 2 did not apply to him and while Jesus was still alive on this earth he had the power to forgive but being he is not here...
