We are saved by faith alone. Paul clearly declared that in Ephesians 2.
Too bad you did not read, believe, and accept the entire New Testament.
Taking one passage out and ignoring all the rest is how false doctrine gets started which is what the so called reformers did when they claimed we are saved by faith alone and we can live in sin and still be saved.
There's a reason why reformers are skilled at cherry picken because they are following the traditions of men instead of God's Word.
Sin is no longer the issue for believer and unbeliever alike.
That's the lie the devil keep telling through the ear ticking false teachers.
They claim God can be mocked in that we do not reap what we sow meaning if we sow to the flesh (sin) we will not reap corruption which is just the opposite of what the Lord teaches in Gal 6:7,8
A person does not go to the lake of fire because they sin
Amazing how much ignorance of God's Word is packed in to that one sentence.
Each human being shall be judged by the deeds done in their body:
Romans 2:6
He will judge everyone according to what they have done.
1 Peter 1:17
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.
2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
There's so many scripture references telling us to stop sinning which we are to do thru the power of the Holy Spirit so it's always sad to hear from those who don't hear the word of the Lord which happens when people reject His Word, or in your case have been trained to cherry pick God's Word and ignore the passage the false teachers have instructed you to ignore:
1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil
John 8:34
Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
1 John 3:9
