Has my being here accomplished any real good? I need honesty.
You are a part or are working to be a part of the part of Body of Christ. That is important for each of us for without a single part how complete can the Body be?
1co 12:14For the body is not one member, but many.
1co 12:15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1co 12:16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1co 12:17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
1co 12:18But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1co 12:19And if they were all one member, where were the body?
1co 12:20But now are they many members, yet but one body

I do not go to all of your posts every day [nor to all of the posts of anyone else]. but they have something which draws me to them periodically. That something is the good Spirit which is found from you there. Sometimes we really need each other more than at other times. From the time you first started posting here you have been dependable. One can go to your threads and be able to honestly say, "Give the glory" after reading some of those posts...

Thanks. God is good.

I may just take a break. I need to pray about all my social media involvement right now.

I think you are one of the encouragers, so yes you do good, but none of us can ever really know the good our words might have in another person's life - unless they tell you that is. Something we might say today could be remembered in the future and do the work it is meant to do. If we come here with the intention to bless, inspire and encourage then I do believe that is righteous and in time people will be blessed.

You are a joy to have on the forum but I do know this place is draining at times, but it equally draws you to log on. I never thought I would get hooked on social media, but even at the age of 65 I have at times.
It can act as a distraction and I would suspect that now you are a mum your time for quiet moments is limited ( compared with before you gave birth )
So it’s easy to feel a bit out of balance with it all xxx

Wynona, you and others are all a blessing to know who have some type commonality of desiring to do good which is only done in and through the Lord Yeshua, for without him one can do nothing. He is the strength which can help us get through our temptations and the sufferings and trials, and holding on to the burdens of others to, in some degree or another, just giving some time and being interested helps, especially when you desire to overall do well by walking in faith and in step with the spirit. To me you are a person whom is someone who has been here for a long time, is human, and is doing what she needs to as she has chosen to do so in her own way and in her own life. It helps when you become okay with these factors over time, because everyone is worthy of respect, and being treated kindly. There is no need for evil and to bring down or speak down on a person at all, even though sometimes I will even do that however, to catch myself and notice what is going on one can quickly change and turn around in another direction. All the best to you and all.

A "multitude of counselors" is a double-edged sword, isn't it, Sis?

Only you know how much you've affected individual members for good. I suspect from conversations I've had with you that there's no lack of fruit there.

It's plain for all to see that your influence on the community as a whole is decidedly edifying.

And from an admittedly selfish perspective, your buoyant, positive presence would be sorely missed by me if you were to be absent from us, especially if for an extended period of time.

Of course, there is your relationship with your family and friends who gather with you where you are and, most of all, your relationship with our dear Jesus to consider. I'm biased in that I perceive and take knowledge from you that you have been with Him (Acts 4:13).

But, as has already been suggested and as you no doubt have already considered, your choices will be made between yourself and God.

Something I learned from a doctor friend is to make a pro/con list before and while praying. He and I both (and so many others, I'm sure) have seen tangible evidence of God's hand at work in this practice, and it's not without precedent in the Bible as the story of King Hezekiah's prayer in 2 Kings 19:14 attests.

However conviction compels you to decide, you are loved by us here and always will be.
