Fake ‘Hebraisms’

So called Judaic Christianity, or ‘feast and sabbaths’ worshipping ‘Christians’, claim that they rediscovered and restored ‘ancient’ or ‘Paleo Hebrew’. With that they claim that the first century Believers were Hebrew and Aramaic speaking Israelites who read and knew the Hebrew and Aramaic Scriptures and not the Greek Scriptures as per the Septuagint. They try to prove their point with the Hebrew words which are found in the Greek manuscripts of the New Testament. They claim Greek was not allowed even in the Synagogues or churches of the first (century) and early (second and even third century’s) Christians. Therefore, say they, words which stemmed from their Hebrew root-words, were Hebrew, and not Greek or Hellenistic Greek words.

Take for example the word for the Jewish or Israelite sabbath day, the seventh day of the ‘creation-week’. Its ‘Hebrew original’ transliterates ‘sh-a-b-b-a-th’ in English, as, supposedly, ‘everyone knows’. Therefore first century and later ‘early’ Christians, ‘were Sabbath-keepers’, viz, keepers of the Old Testament, Paleo Hebrew, Sabbath. Christians did not keep a Christian, Sabbath Day! The Sabbath of the first Christians was in no way changed or different from the Jews’ sabbath for thousands of years.

There is no such thing as a Christian Sabbath – say, THEY!

Just now ·

In His Suffering In His Dying In His Death In His Burial In His Grave The LORD has set His Glory above the heavens.
Psalm 8:1

This is the heading above Discussion of ‘The Heavenly Sanctuary’.

Deviate from this, and land up with the Seventh day Adventists – in some heaven above all of their own cobbling and concocting together strange and sensational doctrines from their own bible, ‘The Great Controversy’, aka ‘Climax of the Ages’ etc..

It contains some fine illustrations, it should be said.

This one for instance.

Psalm 8:1b, “The LORD has set His Glory above the heavens” makes a perfect heading; verse 8 of Psalm 7 a perfect Summary of Content.

Exodus and Leviticus are about the before- and after-

Red Sea Passover of Yahweh, precursory to the Seventh

Day Sabbath of Completion, Blessing, Sanctity and Rest,

“My Presence with you”, “Rock of Salvation”, “I-AM

the Water of Life”, sequentially consequentially

“according to the Passover of Yahweh Scriptures”.

Incontrovertibly established is the uniqueness of the Exodus and Leviticus Passover, in that it entailed only Seventh Day Sabbaths throughout its progression or "count" towards "the Fiftieth Day Counted", Shavuot Pentecost Sabbath Day: "fifty days from the first day after the sabbath (of passover) count(ed)", and the "cut" or "harvested" "first sheaf", "for the fifteenth day of the First Month", "prostrated, rested in store", until "the seventh Sabbath counted". Leviticus 23:11A.
