When we talk about a Christ in you Spirit-nature, we are talking about the nature that fits the new creation of 2 Cor. 5:17.
The new creation man is "christ" in "you" which is a shared nature.
It is the same nature the Father and the Son shared, John 14:9
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

It is obvious that this is the life intended for the believer to live.
Living by nature is how the Father lived His life, and the Son lived by the same nature, Hebrews 6:13
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself.

There is nothing greater, why would our Father give us anything less than His Spirit and life.
His nature is in you as your nature now by christ in you, shared nature, joined unto spirit-life.
Why would the believer want to live any other life.
There is no other life, to live some other life you have to act out a life that does not exist and is separate from who you are, 1 John 5:11-12
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

This life is only found in the Son as your only life.
The words Paul uses in Gal. 2:20, "I have been crucified with christ," mean exactly what they say, you were crucified, all in Adam dead by the death of Jesus Christ.

Who are we: we are the birthed of God, His offspring that He alone has had His personal touch in bringing forth a new creation.
How did we get to be His very own: He birthed you the moment you believed by placing His seed, Christ, in you.
What do we do with this kind of mind, thinking, understanding, 1Cor. 2:6-7
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, they which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

We speak it, let it be known to the faithful first, then the world needs to know.
They don't need religious jargon and see a divided body.
When unity and love are expressed they will know we are Christians.
They don't need a doctrine per say, and hear what everyone believe's, they need to see it.
Just like you were, they are looking for the real Jesus.
This wisdom is found only in christ, it's the wisdom of God, it does not make you the smartest man, it's not man's wisdom, it is the revealed wisdom of God.
You may not have the wisdom of King Solomon in this world, but you will know things that King Solomon as well as others did not know, you become a knower, John 14:20
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Jesus was talking about the day of Penecost when the HolySpirit would be poured out.
The simplest of minds can understand the things of God when they are revealed.

Not sure what you mean here?
As I read Paul he is saying "All of him and none of us"
Like John the Baptist ...He must increase and I must decrease.
Death is swallowed up in life. His life! Our flesh nature is death...
"..that Christ be all and in all..."

Obviously I am missing what you are saying here. (the rest I understood)

Be blessed...H

its simple

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

and if you receive the Life of Christ (Son of God), that is the Life Jesus lives, that anyone who receives it lives.

thing is we don't have the power to fulfill it, only God does.

Not sure what you mean here?

The shared life could be called the joined unto life as well as many other references, "he that is joined unto the lord is one spirit"
The new creation is a union between the believer and now the indwelling Christ.
No separation, just a oneness this birthing (born again) brought about, in spirit only, soul is still catching up with the facts.
The old man (spirit-nature-death life) was crucified, but your creation (soul) remained intact so to say.
That is why you are basically still you, some things change through the years and we grow in Him but you are still you, but you are in Him now.
That is what makes a Christian, Christ in you.
The glory of this gospel is Christ will live His life through you if you know it is Him that lives.
Paul tells us it is a revelation, Gal. 1:11-12, 15-16.
So you see the new creation is Christ in you expressing His life through your creation.
That only comes by revelation according to Paul.
Example; the fruit of the Spirit, it is not the fruit of the believer.
They cannot produce any fruit they can only bare the fruit.
So you see sooner or later the believer must come to some understanding or all these things they already have in them remain dorment.
Religion is quick to try to help us realize some type of spiritual growth, without preaching Christ as the life of the believer. Try to straighten out believers by preaching correction of their flesh, that will not happen
Without understanding.

John the Baptist didn't have Christ in him, he lived as all others before the cross.
you could accept a definition of Christ as "Greater love hath no man" too, imo. "Love you neighbor as yourself" prolly = Christ too, or as He has indicated, 9/10ths of the concept, anyway. Dunno, that's just a thought
