How are believers 'today' saved, sealed, justified, made righteous ?
By the SAVING Gospel that applies today.
Gal 1:11-12
11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1 Cor 15:1-4
1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Eph 1:13
13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

The PERFORMANCE conditions :-
Titus 3:
5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Gal 2:
16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Rom 3:
28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Eph 2:
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Rom 4:
5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Rom 14:10
10But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
1 Cor 3:10-15
10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
2 Cor 5:10
10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Both Paul and Peter got the revelation of the gospel to the Gentiles about the same time.Sorry, opinions without verses are disgusting.

That particular generation was one in particular, one that represents the transition that occurs in the salvation of all who are saved. That verse is God saying: "Behold, before they spring forth I show you of them."Acts 2:38-46 Peter teaches what is required to be saved.
So all of you who accept that is how you are saved today, tell us how you are going with v 44 & 45.

44And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Peter's teaching ends at verse 40. Verse 41 to the end of the chapter is a narrative of the ensuing events.Acts 2:38-46 Peter teaches what is required to be saved.
"REQUIRED to be saved"????
Selling their possessions was a RESPONSE to being saved, not a REQUIREMENT for being saved.
I really don't want to go here, but I think it's necessary: Ask yourself: If Jesus personally asked you to sell your possessions, give the proceeds to the poor, and follow Him (see Matthew 19:20-22 and synoptic parallels) would you do it? If not, how can you say you have faith in Him? I'm not sure I like the answer.
Correct. it only applies if one is called into that communal lifwstyle.Acts 2:38-46 Peter teaches what is required to be saved.
So all of you who accept that is how you are saved today, tell us how you are going with v 44 & 45.

Bonhoeffer called that "costly grace".
Churches should be teaching holy living which all the Apostles taught.Bonhoeffer called that "costly grace".
By "cheap grace" he was referring to churches that do not teach sanctification (holy living).
Acts 2:38-46 Peter teaches what is required to be saved.
So all of you who accept that is how you are saved today, tell us how you are going with v 44 & 45.

Does Paul (Romans to Philemon) teach that anyone did the same ?Acts: 2
44And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
44:
I would say reflects the instinct, humans enjoy being with like believing others.
Like minded, like spiritual beliefs fair well together.
45:
Selling possessions, is a common occurrence among people.
Here, I would say, it reflects, instead of “giving away things one no longer wants or needs”…to another, who has no use for the items… to sell the unwanted/ unneeded items, and give a helping hand of $$ to benefit the needs, of a person encountering a down n out struggle.

Read 2 Corinthians chapter 11 if you want to see how Paul himself lived in Corinth - living off donations from the Macedonian churches.Does Paul (Romans to Philemon) teach that anyone did the same ?
If not why not ?
Does Paul (Romans to Philemon) teach that anyone did the same ?
If not why not ?
Acts 2:44-45, Acts 4:32-35Scripturally Not aware.
Couldn’t say why.
Today, do believe individually and communal participation…garage sales, fund raisers, go fund me, etc. called by whatever name lean toward that concept.

Acts 2:44-45, Acts 4:32-35
EVERYONE sold EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was TOGETHER
Paul (Romans to Philemon) - no mention of it anywhere
Conc :- The early Acts (Prophetic) 'age' was paused after the stoning of Stephen
The mystery 'age' of Paul started & continues today.
