Calling is verbal.

Do you call your loved ones without saying a word or something?

Maybe Annanias meant to text in the name of the Lord?
Give me book, chapter and verse that calling on the name of the Lord is what the baptizer not the one being baptized does. Prove with the Bible calling on the Lord is spoken with the mouth by the baptizer. Prove with scripture that the baptizer must say Jesus not Lord like Ananias did.

Did you know that you can baptize yourself in the name of Jesus?

Give scripture! Notice, you flip flopped friend. Your first position is the baptizer must call on the name of the Lord. Now your position is the baptized is who calls on the name of the Lord.
You are confused friend. It's not your fault. Your penetcostal church does not know the scriptures and this is why they teach error on who and how one calls on the name of the Lord.

You have the baptized saying the phrase verbally: "in the name of Jesus"
Then you change persons and have the baptizer speaking the phrase: "in the name of Jesus"
This proves you are confused.
Your penetcostal doctrine teaches the BAPTIZER must say the phrase, "in the name of Jesus".
Not what you just flip flopped and taught the BAPTIZED is to say the phrase, "in the name of Jesus".

Notice who spoke in Paul's baptism? It was his baptizer Ananias who said, "calling on the name of the Lord".

Paul never said himself, "in the name of Jesus"
Also notice, Ananias never spoke the specific name Jesus, he said Lord.

Last point, baptism IS ALWAYS PASSIVE. It is not something you do! It is something that is done to you. Your claim that one can baptize himself is purely an assumption. You cannot find one example USING THE BIBLE, and find someone baptizing themselves. You are teaching unbiblical doctrine. Give scripture.

I have a friend that could not get a person to baptize him in the name of Jesus, so he filled up a big container with water and baptized himself in the name of Jesus. He was doing 20 years in prison.

I think it is awesome.

He called on the name of Jesus for himself.

It is simple, just like laying hands on your head and praying for yourself.
