twinc,

We could ask the same question of all of the OT saints. Was Moses saved and if so by what means?

The OT and NT way to salvation is the same, by grace through faith. Paul demonstrated this in his example about Abraham. Abraham was saved by faith: 'What does Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness"' (Rom 4:3 NIV). This is quoting Gen 15:6.

Other OT saints were saved by faith (see Rom 4:6-8 where Paul quotes Ps 32:1-2). Read Heb 11 to see the hall of fame of OT saints who put their faith in God for salvation.

See the excellent brief article, What was the Old Testament way of salvation? (GotQuestions)

Conceivably. Adam certainly would have believed in God, perhaps even known his Creator (the Son). But what is written of the need to "also eat of the Tree of Life" was a private conversation, so he may not have known to "believe in Christ" for his salvation. On the other hand, God may simply have "chosen" him. Only he or God can say.

sorry Scott God did say:

Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

because Adam was to be:

Luk 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Adam had a relationship with the Almighty that was lost. so its obvious that Adam was aware of "son of God" statues, and that God was going to restore what was lost.

so if Adam believed that Jesus was coming because the Lord revealed that to Adam ( And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel) that faith will not be denied its reward.

You are assuming a lot. It would only be "obvious that Adam was aware" and "that God was going to restore what was lost" - if it was clearly stated...which it was not.

I would say..Yes, He will...
did Jesus as the second Adam and saviour of all mankind redeem and save Adam - twinc

Why not? God sent Jesus to open they Way to Himself.
In my book...we were saved, we are saved, and we will yet be saved. What is up for grabs is WHERE we will stand in regards to the Kingdom and The Throne!! That is what we are all 'working-out" now as we walk the Christian path.
God loved Adam..He knew him inside out. We are not Adam's judge.. or anyone else's....my bible says- "Make YOUR calling and election sure.."
I think we will all be greatly surprised on The Day Of The Lord.....regarding who is where in the Kingdom.
So twinc....keep running the race, and don't get side tract. Lets keep our focus and shoot for the Mark Of The Prize Of The High Calling!
