The case is easily made, 1CL, that you, and I, and every Christian, still break every single one of the ten commandments multiple times every single day... if not every single hour... And even multiple commandments at once; one cannot break commandments 3 through 10 without having first broken commandment 1 and 2. Everything we do, 1CL ~ even good things ~, is/are sinful in at least some small way. Which is awful... but we have the Spirit, Who helps us in our weakness, and... for us Christians, if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And in this life... <smile> that is a constant necessity. The Spirit can give us deep, lasting, and true repentance... and one day will; God will bring His good work in us to completion. At the day of Christ. He will make us... and all creation... new.

No — being born again doesn’t mean you’ll never sin again. It means the Spirit gives you a new supernatural life, a new orientation toward God, and a new capacity to recognize and respond to His movements. The reborn soul can still fall, but it now has the power to rise again, to repent, and to grow in holiness. Rebirth changes the source of life, not the absence of temptation.

Obviously we still sin, but we are being sanctified and now have a new nature we didn't have before. We aren't saved by works, but also we have to work out our salvation. God is still sanctifying us philippians 1:6 completing us until christ comes and ephesians 2:10 we are his workmanship.He's not done with us. This isn't an excuse to sin. It's love thar covers a multitude of sins as it says in the bible. And the greatest of these is love as it says in the bible. God is holy love and as Christians as it says in the bible we can now approach God in prayer with confidence because of Jesus our mediator and because we are made new now acceptable to God. Now God's children. Think of it as a relationship with God the Father as healthy relationship with a child and his or hers earthly father. He disciplines us because he loves us. We are his child.

The answer is "you will never sin again, as if it is forever".

It is like turning the key in the ignition, the gas pedal will always drive you forward - but you will never pretend you are not expecting it to accelerate again (that's what it does).
