Altered DNA, and good direction from God and mankind

I am concerned about altered DNA. Human, animal or any of God's creations. The serpent caused the fall, and Jesus redeemed God's fallen creations. But we should follow the Lord's wisdom in all things. God can certainly heal us, including after death thru the resurrection of the dead provided by Jesus. We hope for eternal life in that resurrection and judgment from God, hoping and working to follow Jesus away from the resurrection of shame, or dammation.

As I learned from our Lord:

I also stay away from that which I have no knowledge of, but keep the idea and consider other areas I have control over.

That includes areas that lead to suspicion that an individual or group of people can not resolve or gain evidence of any real truth.

Such are classified areas, security clearance areas with laws that protect countries and their citizens.

Genetics is one of those areas, some chemical and radiation areas as well.

I find it a playground for satan to deceive as well as enemies foreign and/or domestic. In that I mean consuming oneself with ideas that cannot be proven with scientific evidence or investigation.

Paranoia can sometimes affect people in those areas in thought, comments, and when acted on can make people appear foolish when it turns out to be wrong, if that is the case. Without proper information it is a gamble at best.

We have freedom of speech in the USA. Public speech is held within laws in the United States, which also includes character assaults, defamation of character laws and bearing false witness. We hope for forgiveness if we have error'd as such and hopefully wait for sound minded evidence if that is our authority when speaking later. Freedom of actions and speech are our right and can of course be abused and become criminal.

I know we sometimes see that even today, in news and other areas.

Thank you for your post.

Gene-altering can be put to good use, in the form of life-saving medical treatments. Or it can be put to evil use by evil people.

(Ditto nuclear power, and even knives.)

God gave us wonderful brains that we might understand some of the details of how He created our world and sustains it. He wants us to use that knowledge to help others.

In contrast, The people that want power (prestige, wealth) for themselves will capitalize on any tools available. How we counter evil people is a matter of debate, but we should first “inquire of the Lord.”
