The bible speaks ABOUT the living God. But the letter also kills....it is the Spirit that gives life...and that is written IN the bible. Don't look for verse readings to get life.
And your translation would be wrong.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the
Spirit of
life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death... 6And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the
Spirit is
life because of righteousness.
So as the Father sends the promise and Jesus baptizes us with the forever indwelling Holy Ghost, He is giving us eternal life.
Scripture points believers to go to the Son for that life. This is not accomplish by going TO the Spirit for that.
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
And there is certainly no need to GO TO the Spirit any more for that life when He is in us so Spirit-filled believers can testify that Jesus Christ is the Savior for we are saved.
