"Atheism : The Moral Minority" is what he flashes on the screen for a millisecond. I had to rewind 8x to read it. I don't exactly know what he is trying to do here but when he resorts to subliminal messages I don't quite trust it. I don't understand Atheism. I understand Agnosticism (or Ignorance) but how can you flat out say anything doesn't exist?

I think its quite humerous when people use that prison statistic against christians. Even though most inmates come to accept christ while they are already in prison, not before, because they realize that they are heading down the wrong path and discover that there is only on 'narrow' path that they want to be heading down.

I don't think it's supposed to be a subliminal message, since the except same text is displayed very clearly as the video's title at the top of the page.Anyways, after doing some research I found that his statistics are actually pretty well-grounded. I'm generally of the belief that there are a lot of religious people who haven't really thought about these challenging issues hard enough, and don't devote critical thought to moral and theological issues. I think they are likely to be the ones bolstering statistics in this video. I once heard the quote "A little bit of philosophy will make a man an atheist. A lot of philosophy will make him a theist once again," and I think this is very true. I have a lot of respect for both the atheists who have done a little bit of philosophy, and the theists who have done a lot (the "doing of philosophy" being a drastic oversimplification here meant to stand for general critical thinking of course, but hopefully you understand what I mean), and I think both of these groups of people are likely to be moral, because they have the firm justificational backing for their actions that supplies them with conviction and purpose. Those who have just accepted their religion since they were children, fueled only by dogma and ignorance, are likely to be the ones who are contributing to the sad statistical reality that is explored in this video. So I guess I agree with some (thought not all) of what this guy is saying. I am a lot more likely to trust an atheist than the Christian who hasn't devoted any thought to why he believes what he believes, because you aren't going to arrive at the atheist position without some critical thinking, and without that critical thinking you're not going to have the firm foundations you need to act on your convictions when push comes to shove. I just wish they would do that extra bit of philosophy and come full circle.

It looks like you and I will just have to agree to disagree.
