So Pew research center had a story from dec 14 about fewer Americans are affiliated with organized religion. This is the link.

Reading the above article i was taking back a bit. “Today, fewer than half of U.S. adults (45%) say they pray on a daily basis.”
“The recent declines within Christianity are concentrated among Protestants. Today, 40% of U.S. adults are Protestants.”
Why i say an odd thing is happening is because we keep seeing polls that show christianity is losing favor in the country, yet churches continue to “give in” to political pressure. I dont understand why if the churches are bowing to public pressure, then why isnt it working? Furthermore, if its not working, why are churches still giving in?
