An Ode for the looming Brexit situation in Great Britain?

Use to love watching that programme, there is a similar, but more modern version ' In the thick of it '
I sat and watched all the voting last night - first the prime minister announces she will resign, definately a ploy to change ministers minds on her deal ( it worked with a few ) but sadly she needed to DUP to be on her side, they thought it had worked for awhile. Sadly the DUP have stuck to their views, so it looks as if the deal will not get the votes it needs. Then the parliament, which gained control of the way forward, endeavoured to find a way forward from 8 options - had to laugh, not one of them got the yes vote ------ which leaves us in ' a mess ' all over again !!!!!!
The only ' near ' yes was for a second referendum !
I don't want Boris Johnson as the next prime minister, and if we have a general election, don't want Jeremy Corbyn either -

I support Brexit.
As an American I do not look at it the same way some Canadians and Brits do. People who are way more pro-government in their lives than me.
I say that as someone who has held two elected offices and one state appointed office. Also a Vet.

I support brexit as well - but just not sure where we go after today's- I am not sure I am pro government at the moment - !!!
Seems like the Parliamentarians simply don't accept the referendum decision to leave the EU.
People are going to regard them as simply a rubber stamp for corporations.

England is in crisis. Way too Muslim friendly. Electing a Muslim mayor of London of London. Way too government dependent. In many ways still stuck in history.
No it's more a power struggle- labour are using it to bring about another general election.
Also the country , and Mps are divided on the decision that was made 2years ago
Corbyn isn't bothered about the people , he is just manipulative - I use to like him , not anymore

Hmmmm, well everything in all countries has to do with the character , morality and thinking - but politics have always been corrupt - in our country and yours - so if that is why we are ' in crisis ' then so is yours. If you honestly believe that the character , morality and thinking in the USA has not equally changed , then you are clearly not seeing things the way they are, all countries have changed. The USA is no different , no better - maybe for different reasons , but it's still there.
Yes, we have made mistakes, all countries have - and we will live with the consequences.
The sad reality is that there are a lot of good things happening within all the nations as well , but they are not reported on - so you we get an unbalanced impression at times.
I agree that right now our government is a mess, but sometimes something has to break in order to change for the better - only time will tell what we will reap from this Brexit mess.

The topic is limited to Britain.
If you want to compare the USA and Britain I would say Britain is farther down the slippery slope that both are on.
What is going on in Britain reflects the unique situation of Britain compared to other countries.
The Bible tells us what you will reap from this Brexit mess. Bondage to the EU, the UN, the NWO, and eventually Satan and the Antichrist. We can already see what is happening in Great Britain. Three years have gone by and those dithering evil politicians refused to do what the people clearly wanted -- freedom from slavery.
Yes, your right, the thread is about Britain , point taken.
Despite the mess, I guess I still get a bit defensive about this country - it honestly isn't all bad.

Oh yes, this goes much deeper than a the Mayor...I do not pay a whole lot of attention to politics anymore, I used to be very passionate about it but found only hatred and division. This Us vs them garbage is out of control and will NEVER end, IMHO. ♥

You're talking about it as a Brit.
From my perspective it's pretty bad. Too many Muslim no go zones. Too many Muslims. To loose on imigration. An almost nonexistent Christian population. Too many embracing socialism.
Comparing today to when I look there, the change is terrifying.
Terrifying in the USA as well, but not as bad, which is not saying a whole lot.
The apostasy rules everywhere.
