Jesus Testifies to the Churches

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the [f]Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

14 Blessed are those who [g]do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 [h]But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

Jesus is the beginning, for by Him God created the worlds and all things

Jesus is the END, for when He comes again is the End of this world and the judgment.

Note that in v12,

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work"

Which tells us they are judged for the things they did in the body, their works.
Preterist says Christ returned in 70 AD, and all of revelation and scriptures are fulfilled by 70 AD

Now you can not have people judged for their works before they did any works!
Since when Christ returns a second time, all people are judged, both the living and the dead.
And many billions in 70 AD had not yet been born or done any works.

Preterism is therefore illogical and against what Christ taught.

Right. As Jesus Himself indicated in Matthew 25:31-46, He will be judging literally all people when He comes. Not just all people who lived up until 70 AD. All people who ever live. Jesus did NOT come and "give to every one according to his work" in 70 AD. But, He WILL do that when He comes again in the future.
