Hi all!

I want to apologize to all of you. I have involved myself in some debates and didn't profit to the edification of the body, but only battles over 'genealogies' if you get what I mean, just battles of words. I apologize because I was not wise. Sorry to all of you.

With much love to all of you... God bless you... :)

How do you know they didn't profit anyone Prentis?

Just because you didn't add increase (Which you can't only God can) or you don't see increase right way doesn't mean there won't be... remember that or you're constantly gonna feel discouraged... it's rarely when we water or plant that we ever see true increase right away... when we do it's usually because the seed fell on shallow ground...

And you never have to apologize for standing up for truth... you need to apologize for treating people wrong... but I thought despite the accusations I saw thrown at you... that you handled yourself rather well...

Hope that encourages you...

Thank you, my brother :)

But don't worry, I don't feel discouraged. The words of Paul in one of his letters just weighed on my heart. I don't feel I've generally just been doing it wrong. But I just see one argument where maybe I brought it too far. Then again, maybe not.

[sup]1 Timothy 1:3[/sup] As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, [sup]4[/sup] nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. [sup]5[/sup] Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, [sup]6[/sup] from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, [sup]7[/sup] desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.

I feel it's a warning to us all. I see it happen, and I don't want to give in to it. I want to fight over the right thing. :)

Again, I am in no way discouraged. I just feel there's one argument that didn't need to go where I brought it and I just want to be transparent...

Much love in our Lord... Don't worry, I'm still going just as strong ;)

That's very true... choose your battles... some things are pointless to argue over... but some things are worth fighting for... may the Holy Spirit guide us...

In which... When members start leaving know that we have gone overboard! When we come to judgement let it not be said that we discouraged more souls than we won!
