I ran across a post on X this morning by Senator Mike Lee.
He posted:

As of two days ago, the Pentagon recognizes every Christian faith in America as Christian Except one ...

There is a video he made concerning I believe it concerns Latter Day Saints or Mormons.
I'm not sure which denomination he is, I think LDS.

He then followed up with another post:

I just got off the phone with President Trump We discussed the Pentagon’s “Christian list” I won’t speak for him, but I’m thrilled about where this is heading We’re most fortunate that President Trump (1) loves Latter-day Saints, and (2) is our commander in chief
Stay tuned

I don't have a denomination that I adhere to. I just have a very strong intertwined Relationship with the Lord.

Frankly I don't give a care what the Pentagon considers Christian.
And why would the Pentagon be "making a list" ?

But it made me consider the question:
How many Christian faiths are there?
Because as far as The Holy Bible goes, there is,
Eph 4:5
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

We are living in some very peculiar times.
I believe in the separation of church and state. I believe that the world is carnal and christians are spiritual.
Difference between night and day, darkness and light.

We don't follow the dictates of the Pentagon or who it decides to classify as Christian.
That's God's job.

I like Senator Mike Lee. And maybe this is some kind of message that he is sending, telling us the Government is watching?
Making a list even.
I don't like that.

I don't care what denomination anyone follows as long as they Follow the Lord before all others.
Colossians Chapter 2 comes to mind:

Col 2:20
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
Col 2:21
(Touch not; taste not; handle not;
Col 2:22
Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Col 2:23
Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

But what kind of effect do you think this will have on Judaism, Muslim, and other non-Christian "Religions" ?

When they passed the Patriots Act right after 9/11 they also had a list.
I'm just saying, is he warning us? Or do you think he feels legitimately discriminated against?
I think it's a warning that the "Pentagon" is sticking it's nose where it doesn't belong.

Just thought I'd share this.
Dangerous times folks.

The woman riding the beast is a metaphor for the church controlling the state. Babylon the Great is being formed in the US now, and will absolutely have a list of those who meet with the approval of the church... orthodox according to the church... and will use the state to bring all under the church's authority. They won't all need to agree on doctrine, Babylon doesn't give a hoot about doctrine, so long as her own principles are adhered to and her authority remains unquestioned. Revelation 13 is clear as to the intents and goals of the present unholy alliance forming in Washington under the guiding hand of that heretic woman at Trumps right hand.

Many denominations of the past were Christian thru and thru, but the devil claimed many in schisms/ spits. Now there are two Presbyterian church denominations and two Methodists. So, it would be best for Franklin Graham to pick for them or they might get a gay/transgender chaplain without knowing the denominations that have split over that issue.
Then you have JW's saying they are right, and the Catholics sayin they are right, and the Mormons says they are mainstream Christians, never mind the fact of the angel Moroni that gave Joseph Smith a new gospel and claimed all the church were wrong since Pentecost, but the Apostle Paul said,
Gal. 1 - I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; 7 which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! 9 As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!

I hear you.
But I don't believe the "list" is coming from Washington.
I think it's much deeper then that.
So much happening in the Middle East today.
So much emphasis on Islam and Israel.
I don't believe it is "America" making that list but whoever is controlling the levers at the Pentagon.
Senator Mike Lee said he brought the matter to the Presidents Attention and emphasized that we are Fortunate to have him as Commander in Chief. That is a Military term.
I see a War is brewing between Religions.
I also understand the Spiritual War we are all engaged in at this time.
Islam is becoming a prominent attraction in the US as well as the Attacks and Defense of Israel.
I believe this is more a "Carnal" confrontation then a Spiritual one.

I suppose we will have to "Stay Tuned"

The First Amendment states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Below are the 31 faiths that the Pentagon is keeping as religious codes, with membership by percentage of the population, according to a list shared by Sean Parnell, assistant to U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, in a post on X. All references are sourced from Pew Research Center unless stated.

  1. No Religion (NR)—around 29 percent of U.S. adults are religiously unaffiliated.
  2. Christian—Evangelical (EV)—almost 25 percent of U.S. adults are Evangelical Protestant.
  3. Christian—Catholic (CA)—around 20 percent of Americans are Catholic.
  4. Christian—Non-Denominational (ND)—around 6 percent of Americans worship in a non-denominational church, according to the Hartford Institute for Religion Research.
  5. Christian—Methodist (ME)—approximately 3 percent of Americans are Methodist.
  6. Christian—Pentecostal (PE)—around 3 percent of Americans are Pentecostalists.
  7. Judaism (Jewish) (JU)—about 2 percent of Americans are Jewish.
  8. Christian—Lutheran (LU)—approximately 1 percent of Americans are Lutherans.
  9. Islam (Muslim) (IS)—around 1 percent of Americans are Muslim.
  10. Christian—Baptist (BA)—approximately 1 percent of Americans are Baptist.
  11. Christian—Presbyterian (PR)—about 1 percent of Americans identify as members of the Presbyterian Church.
  12. Christian—Episcopal/Anglican (EA)—around 1 percent of Americans identify as members of the Episcopal Church.
  13. Christian—Church of Christ (CC)—approximately 1 percent of Americans identify as members of the Church of Christ.
  14. Christian—Church of God (CG)—around 1 percent of Americans identify as members of the Church of God.
  15. Christian—Orthodox (OX)—around 1 percent of Americans are Orthodox Christians.
  16. Hindu (HI)—about 1 percent of Americans are Hindu.
  17. Buddhism (BU)—approximately 1 percent of Americans are Buddhist.
  18. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (CJ)—around 1 percent of Americans affiliate with this church.
  19. Christian—Assemblies of God (AG)—around 1 percent of Americans identify as members of the Assemblies of God.
  20. Christian—Church of the Nazarene (CN)—around 0.6 percent Americans are part of the Church of the Nazarene, according to the church's website.
  21. Christian—Seventh Day Adventist (SA)—approximately 0.5 percent of Americans identify as Seventh-Day Adventists.
  22. Agnostic (AN)—around 0.5 percent of Americans identify as agnostics.
  23. Christian—Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW)—less than 1 percent of Americans identify as Jehovah's Witnesses.
  24. Baha’i Faith (BH)—more than 0.05 percent Americans are members of the Baha’i Faith, according to bahaipedia.org.
  25. Christian—Reformed (RE)—over 0.03 percent of Americans are part of the Christian Reformed Church, according to the Christian Reformed Church.
  26. Christian—Brethren (BR)—slightly more than 0.03 percent of Americans are part of the Church of the Brethren, according to brethren.com.
  27. Christian—Quaker (QU)—over 0.03 percent of Americans identify as Quakers, according to Encyclopaedia Britannica.
  28. Sikh (SI)—around 0.02 percent of Americans are Sikhs.
  29. Christian—Scientist (SC) No data.
  30. Christian—Other (CO) No data.
  31. Other Religions (OR) No data.
Two Utah lawmakers have been among the most vocal critics after the Pentagon declined to classify The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as Christian in the updated system. Republican Senators Mike Lee and John Curtis called the decision “unacceptable,” arguing it contradicts the church’s identity and raises broader concerns about government categorization of religion.

However, defense officials have emphasized that the new list is not meant to endorse or delegitimize any religion, but simply to improve logistics and chaplain support. “This decrease in religious affiliation codes is not designed to make any claims on the legitimacy of any faith,” Parnell wrote on X.

Houston, we have a problem.

The list exists because there are demons among us, and the government is having to pay attention to any organized groups with an agenda.

As for the many denominations being one--we are all the fish of the sea in our perspective schools searching for food, some of whom devour and some who are devoured. All who are fishers of men are not the same.

Oh, I don't think so either. And Trump isn't in charge, although he tries to throw his weight around now and again, Good thing he has Marco Rubio there to take the flack from the boss across the Atlantic.View attachment 85405
I don't believe they are compatible.
And we are just celebrating our 250th anniversary of our Independence from "Rome" . I mean the British Crown.
It didn't appear as if the President and the Pope were communicating favorably in my opinion.
And we still have our 2nd amendment unlike Australia which is still under the King's thumb.
While King Charles III serves as Australia’s head of state, this role is entirely ceremonial, and he acts in a separate legal capacity as the King of Australia, not as the British monarch.
The Governor-General carries out constitutional duties on behalf of the King under Australian law.

Does Australia have a constitutional right to freedom of religion?

Religious Freedom in Australia: Constitutional and Legal Context

Australia does not have a single, standalone constitutional right to freedom of religious liberty in the way some countries have a Bill of Rights. Instead, religious freedom is protected through a combination of constitutional provisions, common law, and statutory laws at both federal and state/territory levels legalclarity.org+1.
Constitutional basis
The only explicit constitutional reference to religion is Section 116 of the Australian Constitution, which states that the Commonwealth Parliament “shall not make any law for establishing any religion, or for imposing any religious observance, or for prohibiting the free exercise of any religion, and no religious test shall be required as a qualification for any office or public trust under the Commonwealth” legalclarity.org+1.
  • This applies only to the federal government and does not restrict state or territory laws.
  • Section 116 is a limit on what Parliament can do, not a personal right you can enforce in court. It cannot be used to sue someone for violating it, but it can be used to challenge a law that infringes it legalclarity.org.
State and territory protections
Because Section 116 does not bind state governments, some states and territories have enacted their own human rights or anti-discrimination laws that include religious freedom protections. Examples include:
  • Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006 (Victoria) – Section 14: Freedom of thought, conscience, religion and belief Wikipedia.
  • Human Rights Act 2004 (Australian Capital Territory) – Section 14: Freedom of thought, conscience, religion and belief Wikipedia.
These are based on Australia’s obligations under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
Federal statutory protections
At the federal level, laws such as the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001 (Vic) and the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW), as well as the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), provide legal avenues to challenge religious discrimination in employment and other contexts alternativedisputeresolution.com.au.
Limits and conflicts
Religious freedom is not absolute. Courts and laws can limit it when it conflicts with other rights or public interests, such as child protection or public health. For example, in cases where religious beliefs prevent life-saving medical treatment, the “best interests of the child” principle can override parental religious objections alternativedisputeresolution.com.au.
Summary
  • No standalone constitutional right to religious liberty in Australia.
  • Section 116 is the main constitutional safeguard, but it is narrow and applies only to the federal government.
  • State/territory laws and international obligations fill the gap, but protections vary by jurisdiction.
  • Enforcement is possible through anti-discrimination laws and human rights legislation, but not directly through Section 116.
In short, Australia has some constitutional protection for religious liberty, but it is limited and supplemented by other legal frameworks, so the level of protection depends on the context and jurisdiction legalclarity.org+2.

This is a Global issue. I don't think anyone will be immune from what is about to hit the fan.
