...has absolutely nothing to do with pride or self-righteousness. You label me thusly simply because you do not understand how anyone else outside of your perceived reality can be correct.

Like the vast majority of this world, you do not understand the primacy of authority.

If you have signed on as a "taxpayer" (and you obviously have), then you will indeed render to that authority (even under threat of duress, if deemed necessary. It's why you're desperate for me to join you in your mi$ery.). I however, am not a "taxpayer;" I am forbidden by my Authority to render unto a master other than God himself.

As we saw in 1948 and 1967, prophecies concerning national Israel came to pass. The Church has not replaced Israel; it is now part of Israel. There are only a certain number of Gentiles that will be saved, and when time reaches that number, then all Israel will be saved. Look at the last verse in Revelation 12. Israel's offspring who keep the commandments of God and have faith in Jesus is the Church. So, my dear Aussie friend, you need to rethink your stance.

My dear, The Woman in Revelation 12 represents God's people independent of ethnicity or linage. It includes Ruth the Moabitess, Rahab from Jericho (from heathen nations) Noah and Abraham amongst many others....none of which were 'Jews'.
It is through the line of those with faith that The Woman is identified.

I am well aware that those who see ethnic Israel as The Chosen People, citing as you have the 1948 and 1967 wars as evidence, is misplaced.

Both Jesus, the Apostle Paul as well as the other Apostles have made it quiet clear that ethnicity and or linage counts for nothing.

It is in order to justify barbarity and favouritism both amongst those who take the name Christian and Jew that the violence of today's secular Nation Israel has taken the limelight and Jesus is placed in the shadows.

Yes, National Israel is the progeny of Jacob and it is not for nothing that these descendants have become a by-word among the Nations of Earth and have been for some time. It is because they are true to their name 'Jacob' even while taking the name Israel. (you might want to check the history of Jacob's son Judah after which the Jews are named, for background)

The Israel of God on the other hand are those who have 'wrestled with God and prevailed'. They are people from every ethnicity and linage who have trusted, not in their own arm but the arm of God.

National Israel even though initially singled out by God as his representative, betrayed their trust at just about every turn....from before their exodus from Egypt to the murder of their Messiah. (OT history is testimony to this)
The baton so to speak, is now passed to all who place their trust (faith) in Jesus....and are subsequently, as stated earlier, now identified as the Israel of God in scripture.

Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11:14 and Jesus said to Let no one eat fruit from you ever again. Jesus was referring to the Mosiac Law and the fig tree represented Israel. In many places Jesus rejected the Mosaic law. The Jews today want to rebuild the temple and go back to Mosaic law. National Israel is only in the picture because people still think the Israel is special somehow. They are not. At Pentecost it all changed and thousands of Jews became Christians and ever since then whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Not because they a Jewish. There is no special exemption. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Romans chapter 9 describes this. Yes, a remnant will be saved, but by the same calling that every Christain receives. Remember Jesus said He doesn't pray for the world, only the chosen ones God has given to Jesus. John 17:9 and John 17:2
