Avoiding the Evil Mills

First defining a mill... A grain mill is a machine or mechanism, historically powered by water or wind but now often electric, that grinds cereal grains (like wheat, corn, rice) into flour or other meal, using abrasive surfaces like stones or steel burrs to crush and process the kernels, allowing for fresh, whole-grain flour production for baking and cooking. The process involves cleaning, crushing, and reducing grain, with different types of mills offering varying textures and speeds, from fine flour to coarse grits. - Google Search

The dangers of a mill - Fine metallic or grain powders can easily explode. The video below shows a man attempting to produce cornstarch fireballs (not recommended to try at home). I work at a factory where aluminum and steel dusts are equally explosive hazards.

The Dangers of Religious Mills - Regrettably can also produce harmful results.

1. The gossip mill - Spend all day talking about people
2. The doctrinal mill - Spending all day wanting to prove how everybody else in the world is wrong except you
3. The eschatology mill - Trying to prove exact timelines... After the Lord has told us there are things we are not to know
4. The whats wrong with the church mill - Normally beginning with... "I have a problem with..."

The Apostle Peter said... "But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. " - 1 Peter 4:15

In which can have terrible and explosive aftereffects. Whenever you have exited a conversation with a terrible feel know the it was probably the effect of some terrible form of mill

I must say! As a teenager there were times I felt the sensation of being new and Spirit filled. There were also times were I was involved in the wrong and harmful mills. Biblically right? Maybe? But definitely off the mark spiritually. Had I the opportunity to go back in time I would have known what talk to stay well away from as the results are terrible.

And then we have the evils of the political mills.... In which people will want to argue with you all day with.

And we have the news and current event mill... In which the greater the shock value the more the article will get read. Never mind this is stuff that will weight the spirit down and depress.

Breathing in dust from milling is also hazardous to one's health.

I am a Lab Tech who works around aluminum and steel dust. We have had two explosions due to the effects of it all. One blowing the whole side of the building off.

Still thinking about the mills (rumour, gossip, doctrinal, news, and so on) and have wondered about the Genesis effect...

What was the first taste of the knowledge mill?

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: - Genesis 2:17

And what were the consequences? Death?

For in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. - Genesis 2:17
I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. - Genesis 3:10

One has the permission to eat of the tree of knowledge, but the very thing will bring a spiritual and a natural death. I have noticed young teenagers with an innocent and pure spirit. My fear for them is a loss of innocence as they gain the knowledge of evil that is in the world. But.... It will most likely come!

My desire though... Is to escape all the bad effects of it all and try to live a good life.

If I could point out two extremes…

1. Virtue – From the wholesome grain
2. Vitriol – Basically corrosive or explosive stuff (out of the bad mills so to speak)

Vitriol sulfate refers to an archaic name for a metal sulfate. It can also refer to "oil of vitriol," an old name for concentrated sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄). In which I work with daily. Biblical concepts similar to Vitriol - Though the word itself is not in the Bible, scripture contains numerous warnings against the kind of bitter, poisonous language that "vitriol" describes:

The tongue is a deadly poison: The book of James in the New Testament directly compares the tongue to "a restless evil, full of deadly poison" (James 3:8).

Harsh words stir up anger: Proverbs 15:1 says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger". The poison of vipers is under their lips: The Apostle Paul, quoting from the Old Testament, notes, "The poison of vipers is under their lips" when describing the unrighteous (Romans 3:13).

Putting away malice and evil speaking: In Ephesians 4:31, Paul instructs believers to "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice."

On meditations a vitriol spirit is not good in any relationship. But... If not careful... It can find its way there very quickly! And ruin any relationship even though the intentions were good! Very much explosive and corrosive stuff!
