He's surrounded by the things. They are beautiful but I'd be scared of their backs and talons.
Ya, talk about an encounter. Eagles can lift dogs of fairly large size, not too large, but still.
I've heard of our golden eagles taking lambs as well as small dogs and other animals. They must have immense strength.
I hear they get really big. I have seen bald eagles that are huge on the beach here in Washington. Bald eagles can get pretty large, but I thought they said golden eagles are larger.

That eagle didnt steal his fish. The fisherman cut it a freash filet and gave it to him!

I just watched it again and he doesnt actually cut a piece and the eagle went ahead and took it, but the container full of cut filets suggests that he was out there feeding them.
I don't think you're familiar with eagles. It wasn't taking no for an answer and is way too close for comfort. I don't think the fisherman had much choice. Take a look at how dangerous eagles are:

In the mountains near Los Angeles, there's a Bald Eagle nest. Each year they usually lay eggs. There's a live cam on them and lots of us watch the eggs to see if they hatch.
The news informs us when they first lay the eggs.
I just checked, one of the Eagles is on the nest now. The website also writes updates on the Eagles.

Yep, I was on the beach and saw one of those larger bald eagles myself. It was standing on the shore in the sand and it was large enough to worry me being close to it.

Those eagles must be starving to come that close to man.
I'm the type that would fish to feed them. I don't fish because I won't hurt fish or worms .
