If you could sit down for coffee with one Bible character (not Jesus!), who would you choose and why?

I think there are many characters I would love to sit and have a coffee with but I think I would choose - Joshua because I would love to know more about how he managed to stay obedient even in the hardest times and difficult decisions. :IDK:

I would also like to spend a lot of time chatting with Samuel. There would be lots to talk about regarding future events if the lord wills. So I would have to make sure the espresso machine is cranked up. :clmSmlx

There are many Joshuas. There's the Joshua you know as the one who worked alongside Moses. There's the one in the book of Zechariah who is a high priest. There's one who was a governor of Jerusalem. Then there's many others.

It would be crazy interesting to sit down with Mary, the mother of Jesus. I would love to know the dynamics of that household. Find out about His siblings and about what happened to Joseph. And how she found the strength to watch her Son being tortured and murdered. What faith she had!

I would like to be at places to see events. I'd like to see the parting of the Red Sea. I'd like to see Samson tie those fox tails together. I'd also like to see the face of Hezikiah when he looked and saw 185, 000 dead Assyrians and the revival he led Israel to. I'd loved to have seen and visited Solomons Temple, and hear the Levites sing, and much more.

I would have like to be in the field with Shepards when the angels announced Christs birth. I'm sure Mary was well aware of what was going to happen to Jesus at the end. Jesus told the disciples, and she would have known more than all.

I'm talking about the Joshua who obeyed the lord to the letter, particularly when having to destroy many nations to get to the promised land and not flinch in the midst of it all until it was done. Imagine having to destroy men women and children and to take no prsioners...

For me it would be the apostle Paul. I would love to be able to question him about his unspeakable revelation.
hmmmmm, would it be lawful for him to answer me?....lol

Of course, I want to know what I don't know.
I wonder where exactly the difference lies between humans and Satan?
Satan is the fallen angel who temps the whole world.
Humans have become his subjects either wittingly or unwittingly.

Revelation 12:9
'The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.'

More question need to be asked before any dots can be joined well.

I still think this explanation is rather odd.
The angels from the age of the Great Flood were commanded by God to be bound because they had taken human women as their wives.

Why is Satan an exceptional case?

Does this mean that God is a failure? That his created angels do not obey his words and will?

And Why?
