A parent complained that it wasn’t age appropriate for kids. I agree. It is filled with genocide, incest, and infanticide (story of Lot, anyone?). Another win for modern, secular society. Kids need to be left alone and not indoctrinated with Bronze Age thinking until they develop their critical thinking skills later on.
It is not a win for secular society. Sixty years ago they took prayer out of schools. I don"t remember any teacher every teaching from the Bible. Only Catholic schools did that. Public school was about reading, writing, arithmetic, history, science, etc. Religion in the last century was always left up to the parents and Sunday school.

Actually atheism has gone nowhere in the last 150 years. 10% of Americans, and btw 10% of the world population are atheists. That percentage has not really changed any. Darwinism, regardless of them shoving it down kids throats, is just a temporary snag, the Devil's trap that many fall into but end up climbing out of when God shows them the LIGHT.
Of course fools like Stephen Hawking went to his death confounded, but he was already judged in his life!
No worries, Christianity is right on track with 2.65 billion believers.
