IF I don't work that night, Mr. Duck wants me to start attending Bible study with him.

Mr. Duck is very extroverted. I am not. Mr. Duck likes lots of openness. In person, I do not, because it scares me.

I am really anxious. Please pray for me and for him to be able to handle the fact that if someone asks me my opinion, I am going to freeze like a deer in the headlights.

You don't have to answer questions if you prefer not to. You can always just simply say, no thank you. However, don't be afraid even if the topic is new for you, and you aren't sure, that is OK! Only a bunch of monsters would think otherwise, and I'm sure that they are not. Opposites attract , so I am not surprised your husband is extroverted and you are not. You be you, but have no FEAR.

I was once in a small group Bible study where we prayed for each other and shared some remarkable insights about the Word and just generally enjoyed each other's fellowship. Lord, can you make this gathering like that?

Yes... Mr. Duck used to preach. He is the leader type.

He said to me "I'm so glad you're going to be there. They think you'll have really great points to add to the conversation," and I gave him this face:

I MAY know the people there and not recognize the name. I'm nervous.

I recall you saying on more than one occasion that growing up, expressing yourself was discouraged. Some scars last a long time. In a caring, spirit-filled environment, this could be God's way of providing some much-needed healing. Might be. Talk that one over with Mr. Duck.
