I blame the Board of Education.
They dumbed everybody down real good.

2+2 = 5
They don't teach Civics in school, but that is changing now.
They don't want the people "church" to know how anything works.
Kind of like they want to control what is taught and learned.
Pretty sure the "church" has been through that before.
Can anyone say Latin?

Civics education has significantly declined in American schools since the 1960s, leading to a generation of students who are less informed about their government and civic responsibilities. Research shows that many Americans, especially younger individuals, struggle to identify basic governmental functions and rights . This gap in knowledge poses a risk to democracy, as a well-informed citizenry is crucial for a functioning republic . Parents overwhelmingly support the teaching of civics, emphasizing the importance of understanding the nation’s founding principles and historical figures.

Well fix that too.

Now Congress will pass a Law and the Supreme Court will have to decide according to the Law.
As soon as Congress passes a Law then that Supreme Court decision will be overturned.

The Legislative Branch creates Laws, The Executive Branch, Executes those laws, and The Judiciary Branch Judges according to the Law.
Right now there is no law regarding birthright citizenship, but there will be.
Then that decision will change.

I refuse to love someone that has come to this country to slit my throat.
Have a good day.

Hugs
Loving someone does not mean enabling their criminal activity, including illegally entering the country.

Much love!

When Jesus was talking to his disciples about loving their enemies.
He was talking about the Jews, the Priesthood, the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Because he knew they put a target on all their backs and would look for any excuse to destroy them.
Jesus said, don't give them a reason to Hate you, they will hate you anyways,
Don't be like them.

Both U.S. neighbors, Canada and Mexico, allow unrestricted birthright citizenship, as do all but two countries in South America.
In the Eastern Hemisphere, Lesotho, Tanzania and Pakistan are among the countries that grant automatic citizenship to those born on their soil.

The problem with birthright citizenship is it can be easily exploited, and it has been (i.e., birth tourism, for example). Most of those countries that allow it are not countries where people would prefer to live if given the choice, so it negatively affects them far less. But they do want to live in the U.S., which is why we have the highest rate of birthright citizenship. This can still be temporarily remedied through the executive branch and permanently remedied through the legislative branch.

I said I was against the above. There are a lot of those places in California where they have multitudes of pregnant women living in dwellings just to give birth in the USA. They pay big bucks to do that. It's like a barracks of pregnant women in each dwelling.
What worries me is that those babies they claim have citizenship and have a right to a birth certificate, which also allows a social security number,
once that baby has acquired that status, what happens to the baby?
They don't need a physical child to use those documents for fraudulent reasons.
If you don't require an ID but you have a birth certificate, all you need is that piece of paper with no ID to show that you are who is in that document.
To be candidly honest, I believe those babies are being put in the same situation as puppy mills.
And if you know what a puppy mill is, God have mercy.

Puppy mills are large-scale breeding operations that prioritize profit over animal welfare, often resulting in unhealthy and poorly socialized dogs.
Children are a commodity to some people. They buy and sell them. And once they have the documentation.....

We live in a very sick world right now.
Pray to God he heals it soon.
Hugs

Join the group of anything that can be exploited, one thing I think most don't realize the majority of Americans (99.5 %) can be qualified as birthright citizens, UNLESS your family were indigenous to this land.

Even "indigenous" people came from somewhere else. Regardless, birthright citizenship only became part of the U.S. Constitution in 1868 to ensure that former slaves born in the U.S. would be considered citizens. It has outlived its purpose and usefulness, there's no reason to keep it.

The Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship
Their subterfuge reasoning was to treat
  1. born in the United States
  2. AND subject to the jurisdiction therein
As a single requirement rather than 2. The lawyer Andrew Bianca explained the nuance if jurisdictional meaning.
  • Everyone, even those not born here are subject to criminal laws.
  • Even foreign diplomats cannot commit murder under the claim of diplomatic immunity.
  • Only some people in a jurisdiction are political subject to it.
  • For instance, only those who established a residence in an area can vote.

Native Americans in Oklahoma are subject to American laws, but their exact jurisdiction is heavily divided between federal, tribal, and state authorities. Because of landmark Supreme Court rulings, Oklahoma state courts generally lack the authority to prosecute Native Americans for crimes committed on tribal lands

This is the most important statement in the entire thread.

Being a Christian nation (people) maybe that is how God planned it? to whom much is given much is required, as Christians we are to minister to others the Name of Jesus/Yeshua, what better way to be more accesible do that

The Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship, I was made aware that there are currently 33 countries worldwide that offer unconditional, unrestricted birthright citizenship (also known as jus soli), meaning citizenship is automatically granted to almost anyone born within their borders, regardless of their parents' legal or nationality status. Most of the countries that allow for birthright citizenship are concentrated in North and South America.

Both U.S. neighbors, Canada and Mexico, allow unrestricted birthright citizenship, as do all but two countries in South America.
In the Eastern Hemisphere, Lesotho, Tanzania and Pakistan are among the countries that grant automatic citizenship to those born on their soil.

Leviticus 19: 33-34 When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself..."
Now show us using Scripture alone where God rewards unrepentant crime.
