There is video circulating on FB that shows a man and women who tried to tackle the gunmen but were shot and killed by them, think this may be the man.

But if repentance is the key, then the entire planet is in trouble.

Australia has the same problem that the UK has.....
Too much coastline to be able to stop the influx of guns in a world where they are prolific because too many manufacturers are selling them in every condition possible from brand new to slightly used (dropped once) or heavily used.
Instead of trying to ban guns....ought to figure out how to live with them. Because there is no, not figuring it out.

Seriously, so you figure the people in the US have learned to live with guns - how many mass shootings and killings do you have over there !?

I'm in the USA....
And if you remove the huge Democrat controlled cities(where guns are also illegal) from the statistics the statistics surrounding shootings drops drastically....to the point the USA is almost dead last in rankings.
We know how to work with firearms, handle them, store them and etc. It's in the Democrat areas there are no gun safety courses, and guns are seen as some sort of superweapon that can empower people to Superman status. (Kinda nuts IMHO)
Guns are just a tool....a VERY simple tool.
These things (and much worse) can be made easily by just about anyone without any doubt of accuracy and efficacy. That includes ammunition.
But, when there's nothing magic or special about guns there's no fear or desire to use one in a harmful manner. Disagreements can be made and resolved without going to insane levels. Well....maybe insane is a poor word choice here....let's say "lethal" or maybe "violent".
Guns (including fully automatic) are available easily no matter where you live. No different than a microwave oven.
As always it's the people and their attitudes that make all the difference in the world.
If that is the case then you would have very little crime with guns, we see many disagreements within documentaries coming out of the US that show many use guns when there are disputes.
Guns do not solve the problem.
Anyhow in this incident in Bondi, it was a terrorist attack, not a sudden reaction to something. Terrorists will find a means and way regardless of where they are and the limitations within the country.
Perhaps we should understand why God gave this prophecy: -

I wonder if 2 Chronicles 7:12ff provides us with a solution to our unfolding problems.
Just a thought. I wonder if we Christians will be able to humble ourselves and repent of our collective sins.
[1] This sentence is probably talking about the Islamic fighting force known as Isis, which have come out of the area of Persia which today is known as Iran.
[2] It is my opinion that God is speaking of the member nations of the Coalition of the willing, lead by the USA President who invaded Iraq/the Land of Babylon to heal the land in their own strength instead of destroying it in 2003 AD.
[3] It is my view that Jeremaih is speaking of the issues associated with climate change.

The problem we are having with our federal Government is that they are using the introduction of stronger gun controls without addressing the real causes that we as a nation are facing.
There are a number of people in NSW who have over 400 guns each in their gun safes.
The real problem is the number of "Islamic refugees" we have allowed to enter our country who have no respect for our secular laws or our religious faith(s).
Sadly, the horse has bolted because nobody thought to close the gate to stop it.

More people carry guns in the USA. Many, many crimes have been stopped by a citizen carrying a weapon, rarely in the news. Remember news in the Western world try to create fear in you. Fear of the Gov't, fear of guns. My favorite was covid that panicked the world when it shouldn't have, but the news had to report all the dying, and didn't tell you that more people died of heart disease and cancer than all of covid deaths, the virus that did not exist and shots that killed people, and masks ed that were useless against it.. All the news media try to do is create fear.
Now, Mass shootings only occur in places they post a NO GUN Zone sign. One citizen with a gun stops it.
The lion's share of gun violence is in Democrat Party cities.
When those anomalies are removed there is less gun violence than in most countries per capita that don't allow guns owned by civilians.
Meaning....we really don't have a lot of gun violence even though we all have guns.
Most Democrat Cities do not allow guns inside city limits but they have more gun violence per capita than anywhere else.
Whoever speaks against Israel, the Land of the Bible is in danger of being in Hell Fire tomorrow. And forever.

What point are you trying to justify.
God promised that his descendants would be scattered to the four compass points of the earth.

A lot of Muslims (several attacks) attacking Christmas markets in Germany and France.
Gloating over Israel's enemies' future destiny is unbecoming of a Christian Saint.
We should be praying for the salvation of Israel and Her enemies.
