To be blunt, if a survey is done that suggests a nation is a Christian nation by a ratio of 4 to 5, based purely on answers to questions that suggest there are many 'church' buildings and loyal members in it, with lovely window dressings, attire, hymns, donations, coffers are full, well respected etc, of many different Christian groups. Does that really determine if it is truly Christian? I say definitely not, it is a deception of a grand scale. But later on history, Greece became a Christian nation and Italy became a Christian nation.
We get back to the argument that is it the individual and their relationship with God and his Son, and maybe a small community/cells of the same believers that really matters, versus one who goes to a 'church' building where its authorities and teachings tell you, you are a surely a Christian because you abide by their doctrines and rules and they recognize you help the needy and donate a lot, and for some, always confess your faults to a man every week or fortnight.....etc.
Just saying, Bless you
