Hello fellow CB members i need your help and advice concerning my brother. You see my brother is an active mason and i want so dearly to help break the hold of the occult, i beleive that the masons are dangerous to society as a whole. I need your help on what scriptures i can use to show him that masons are not good people. There subliminal messages are evrywhere and there main two are the triangle and the rising sun that they use. Anywho i need your help, i have asked to sit in on one of the meetings just to ask a few basic questions but as one christian to another how do we stop this satanic cult.

My brother Clint,

Unless Masonry has changed dramatically you won't get into one of their meetings let alone be allowed to ask questions.
You worry too much about too many things.....The human instinct is to wallow in mystery and to exalt in pretending to its mastery.
The same propensity is just as prevalent in Christianity and forums wouldn't even get off the ground if that were not so.

I'll tell you a bit about Masonry, 'corse I know from first hand experience.

It comes in a range of devotional sincerity (just like Christianity) with some joining because they think it will further their social climb, and some joining because they sincerely believe in its virtues.

When I first married, my wife's father was Grand Worshipful Master of a Lodge and he was a sincere believer in its virtues.

One tenant is that you are not allowed to know about it before you join.....you are supposed to join purely because of your respect and admiration for someone you know to be a member, and then you learn about it after you have joined and sworn an incredible pledge of allegience and secrecy.

Father in Law was desperate that I should join but because he believed in the practice of not 'preaching or evangelising' for my membership the nearest he would get would be to leave his little 'masonic bible' accidentally on the mantle shelf after he had gone to bed when I was staying at his house, in the hope that I would notice it and ask if I could join.
Being a Christian, I'm afraid I broke his heart by declining to even consider allegience to something that I was not allowed to know about until after I had committed.

He was the most sincere example of Masonry that I have ever met and a wonderfully loving and generous man to his death bed.

BUT... he died with a broken heart inasmuch as not a single one of his fellow masons visited him whilst he was dying in hospital and his wife was furious when, at his burial, one of their representatives nevertheless insisted on pushing to the front to perform some sort of sprinkling ritual over his coffin.

Tell that to your brother, is all I can suggest.

Mike.

Thats my point though masons refer to there leaders as "grand worshipfull master" no human being that has ever walked the face of the earth is worthy to be worshipped. That is excluding jesus, christ is the only one we should worship.

Its possible i could ask a few basic questions though, also many many masons also profess lucifer to be light this also is a concept straight from hell that is learned in 32nd degree masonry.

Hi gumby!

I am new, and I hope I do not get into trouble for posting you a link! I mean no disrespect to this forum, but I did a quick search at gotquestions about your post, and I think this will be very helpful to you!:

http://www.gotquestions.org/free-masonry.html

Please tell me whether I may post links in the future?

Thank you.

Regards, Esther

Thank you evryone here but there is no hope for my brother unless he opens his eyes to jesus. I thnik i cant escape the pain anymore, my brother is not in christ and i dont see it in his being. The way he talks the way he walks...........hes not in christ. I remember when i was 17 my brother was 20 he accused me of trying to break up my parents marriage when we were in football practice he would always taunt me and make fun of me just for the fun of it. I was suppodsed to be the best man at his wedding but i have told him to find someone else for the spot. He doesnt respect me and i want nothing to do with him. I stand by my statment though the masons are evil hypocrites that worship satan and my brother is living proof. Maybe i can forgive in time but in the mean time i have opted to ruin his most happy wedding by not showing up. My family will ask questions and will ponder what is wrong but i dont care anymore he has abandoned christ and has abandoned me. And this is written that brother will rise against brother and thats the way it has ended up i beleive. Hopefully he will find jesus and change his life but im not counting on it anytime soon until he truely hates himself and hates his life and wants to repent and accept christ. I will walk my path with God and i can safley say im done with my brother until he accepts christ and starts acting like a christian.

Well after hours of talking with my brother i thnk i can forgive him after what happened tonight. Although i figured out the real reason why he was so angry. He may very well be developing gaucoma in his eyes. I have siined by not forgiving if thats the case, although maybe instead of following the masons maybe he will follow christ and decide to join him through scripture. It turns out that after evrything has settled that i will be the best man at the wedding but like i say the pains still there. Pray for my brother and myself that we will mend our relationship. Hopefully i can open up some of his mason freinds eyes to christ.
