Today, the majority of people here in "the colonies", upon graduating from public High School, (not like British "public" schools which we call "private" here) have a very meager education. I have taught English grammar and composition at the college level and have been consistently appalled by the dismal command of English among the students. (By rights she should be taken out and hung...for the cold blooded murder of the English tongue!" Prof. Henry Higgins in the My Fair Lady version of Pygmalion.)

I find it embarrassing that Christians, not only get sucked into this kind of spectacular drivel, but then go on to repeat it to others!

I can understand why a pagan or an atheist or a Muslim or a Jew or a Hindu would want absolutely nothing to do with Christianity if belief in this kind of puerile rubbish were a requirement.

I see a whole lot of egotistical grammar warriors yet next to no warriors for the Lord Jesus Christ. I consider your subtle ad hominem attacks as quite "rubbish and laughable". Looking at your post history, you seem to have an ego the size of mount Everest, especially when it comes to the English language, with nothing of any value added for Gods word. I don't understand why any real Christian would even want to be in the same room with you if I had to listen to your school boy level understanding of scripture every single day of my short life.

I earned my Masters of Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary and my BA in English at The Citadel. (Plus a MA in Psychology and an MBA and extensive, continuous post-graduate study)

I was the Academic Dean of a Bible College which I helped establish working with a Korean Church in Moscow, Russia. It was set up to serve the unregistered (underground) Russian Pentecostal Church. I not only taught there but also in small, low cost, Bible schools in the USA where we kept costs to a minimum to allow as many people as possible to attend.
