That would include Canada.

Of course not; I'm being sarcastic. Nazi Germany legalized the murder of Jews. And also eliminated anybody that was not considered contributing to their society, like the disabled. Socialism flying different flags—that's what I see whenever the Canadian flag is displayed, like the swastika. Nazi Germany even used the brown shirts, known for being lovers of boys, as long as they would fight for their cause. No different than the worldwide illegal immigration today that was set in motion to destroy socialist political enemies.
I wouldn't recommend CBN or TBN to anybody. Too much damage by their merchandising heretical doctrines and prosperity gospel. Obviously, money means a lot to those broadcast networks. It's a shame that either of them exists in the name of "Jesus" and is the face of Christianity to the majority of inauthentic or Christian inquirers. But G-d raises up wicked rulers, false prophets, and teachers (obviously and broadcast networks) to lead the unrighteous into damnation.

In the age of grace, we would rather die as a martyr, than kill as a warrior. A martyr is someone who wants to live, but will not kill his enemies to avoid being killed by them.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
Jesus told us what to do:
Turn the other cheek.
Love your enemies.
Do good unto those who abuse you.
Pray for those who persecute you.
Resist not an evil man.
Blessed be the peacemakers.
Put away thy sword.
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
We fight not against flesh and blood.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Jesus is God. He does not change.
I have no problem dying as a martyr. As long as I send a few devils to Hell first if they're intent on slaughtering the cowering innocents behind me.

Don't mask cowardness for meekness or pacifism for courage and strength. Let me remind you what G-d had done to those that brought back a bad report so soldiers of Israel lost faith in what He had commanded. (Numbers 13-14)
It would be a fruitful study if you dived into the self-sacrifice in the life of the soldier, rather than only identifying as one for G-d. All identity politics aside, there's a difference between a soldier and a metaphorical one. The metaphor is meant to convey certain aspects of reality so others can relate, for example, "no greater faith in all of Israel." That was not said for the cause of the Roman soldier but for the complete obedience under his command as well as his faith in the correct object in which he interceded and appealed. (Matthew 8:5-13)
