And your beliefs didn’t come from men? Tell me please whose beliefs don’t come from some other humans?I sure can see you sure did some homework . Too bad it came of men .
Who wrote the Bible? Who preached the good news to those in the first century? Jesus taught his apostles and those men taught others. Who taught you?
Yes, I said all of that because I did my homework. You said all of this .
It’s amazing what you find out when you remove the accepted precepts put forward by an apostate church system, and do your own research.
You apparently reject the church system, and yet you still accept many of its teachings.
Why?
I have used “the scrips”, Amigo….they tell the story. I do not depart from them. Now watch how short and simple it is for this sheep to prove and do so by the scrips .
God is a spirit (John 4:24) but he also has a spirit, that in the language of the Bible is the administration of his power. The Holy Spirit emanates from God and empowers others, giving them abilities and knowledge that others do not have.IF i do not go the COMFORTER cannot come . HE has been with you and shall be IN YOU .
I Will come unto you , I WILL NOT leave you comfortless .
GOD IS HIS SPIRIT , HE IS HIS WORD . and the HOLY SPIRIT aint an IT
I agree that God, as an eternal being, has always existed, which means that he was always “Almighty” or “all powerful” (Omnipotent). But God’s spirit is the administration of that power….it was evident in creation (Gen 1:1-2) and in the accomplishment of God’s will and purpose, all through the Bible. The HOLY SPIRIT is a LIVING ENTITY that was LONG before anything even was .
Where does it ever say that God’s spirit is a person?
I have enjoyed it Amigo….but I understand the difference between God being a spirit, and exercising the power of his spirit and giving it to others…..this power is from God….it is “God’s spirit”…and he uses it to accomplish his will.THE FATHER IS SPIRIT and has desired that men worship HIM , IN SPIRIT and IN TRUTH .
Enjoy that my friend .
Even Jesus was empowered by God’s spirit, which he received at his baptism at 30 years of age, giving him the ability to perform miracles. His first miracle as you may know, was turning water into fine wine.
After Jesus’s death, Holy Spirit was poured out on 120 of Christ’s disciples at Pentecost empowering them to speak in languages that they had never learned. They could heal the sick and raise the dead because God’s spirit was giving them those abilities.
