Exodus 23:1,
Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
Unfortunately the democrats do not as a general rule live by biblical principles such as this.
I have forgotten the reference, but I believe that it says elsewhere in scripture that if someone testifies against someone falsely, and it is discovered, the thing that would have happened to the accused if they had been found guilty because of their testimony should be meted out to the person that bore false witness.
I believe that if Brett Kavanaugh is found innocent, a punishment should be thought up that would be equal to his defamation of character and the destruction of his success that he would have had in becoming a Supreme Court Justice, concerning the woman who has brought accusation against him as well as the people who put her up to it.
Of course, this justice can and will only be meted out by a heavenly court room; however we should do what we can to punish the bearers of false witness; as it seems to me that all of it is politically motivated and can result in the destruction of a man's honour, which in the Bible is valued to be of greater value than great riches (Proverbs 22:1).
Brett ought to be allowed to sue that woman for all she is worth over the defamation of character if or when he is found innocent; although I don't believe he is the kind that would do that.
