I expect unbelievers to act as the Muslims do. My expectation of Christians is far different, and much higher, than it is of Muslims.

You’re obviously not aware of my conversations with @Behold (in particular, but others too) about Catholicism.

My wife was raised Catholic. I live in an area of the Commonwealth that is 70-80 percent Catholic. (It’s a geographical anomaly.) Almost everyone I know here is Catholic. Almost everyone I’m close with here is Catholic. Almost everyone I love here is Catholic. But I’m not Catholic. (I was raised Protestant - Southern Baptist - but I’m no longer Protestant.)

Generally speaking, I consider Catholic scholarship superior to Protestant scholarship, and both superior to Islamic scholarship.

Catholic scholarship is a greater influence on me than is Protestant scholarship. Islamic scholarship interests me, for the purpose of evangelizing Muslims.
