Daniel 12 is a chapter that is about the end time just before the return of Christ. It tells about the three and a half year tribulation it tells us about the two witnesses of the Lord and it tells us how to count from the beginning of their ministry to the setting up of the abomination of desolation and finally the return of Christ (he who is truly blessed) at the 1335th day

Daniel 12
1 "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?"
7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.
8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?"
9 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."

Daniel 12 also tells us that the end is here. The book was sealed to the time of the end and is now wide open.

He who waits and comes to the 1335 th day is the Lord.

5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.
These are the two witnesses who have the Lord over them who is above the waters of the river and the waters are the people of Christ.

From the time that the two witnesses of the Lord begin their ministry and take away the Lord's daily oblation to man is the starting point for counting the days to the setting up of the abomination of desolation and finally the return of he who is truly blessed The Lamb of God. Then we learn that Daniel will be coming with Christ to.

In Daniel 12 the first verse this statement puts the book at the time of the end during the great tribulation. """And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time."""
In verse nine it also tells that the chapter is for the time of the end with this statement. """And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end."""
The book is now unsealed and understood which means that the end of the world is upon us.

The Dan.12:11 verse is part of the answer to the question raised in verse 6 about how long to the end of these wonders.

Dan 12:4-13
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

The angel tells Daniel the words are sealed up until the end days.

Dan.12:5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

Daniel then sees two other angels, with one of them asking, "...How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?" The idea of that was to plant that question in Daniel's mind, for he emphatically asks for the answer later on.

Dan.12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by Him That liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

That's part of the answer of how long to the end given Daniel. So, count backwards from the end to the start and that period of 3.5 years ("a time, times, and an half"). That MUST be the latter half of the symbolic "one week" of Dan.9:27, no exceptions. So what did that prophecy say...

Dan 9:27
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
(KJV)

In the "midst of the week", means that "one week" is divided into two parts of 1260 days each. After the first 1260 day period, which is the middle of the week, the sacrifice and oblation is ended, and the overspreading of abominations to make desolate begins. That's the "abomination of desolation" event our Lord Jesus forewarned of in Matt.24 and Mark 13. He told His servants in Judea to get out of that area when they see that abomination idol setup in Jerusalem. That's when the latter 1260 day half starts, i.e., the 3.5 years of Dan.12:7. Sacrifices ended and the idol abomination setup begins the latter half 1260 day tribulation period.

Dan.12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

Daniel didn't understand, so he asked what will be the end of these things, so that's still the subject, i.e., the latter half of the "one week" to when it's finished.

Dan.12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Daniel is told the words are closed up until the end time, and what will happen with God's people vs. the wicked.

Dan.12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

This is the verse many get mixed up on. The context is still about answering the question of how long until the end and the events are finished. So it's still about the latter half of the 7 years "one week". From the time the sacrifices end and the abomination is placed unto the finish of the 70 weeks will be 1290 days (1260 + 30 = 1290).

Christ returns to end the 1260 days tribulation peirod. Then 30 days after that is a time for establishing and cleansing of the sanctuary for Christ's Milennium reign, thus to seal up the 70 weeks to include anointing of the most Holy per Dan.9:24 (holy place in the temple).

Dan.12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Those who come to the 1335 days are blessed. That's another 45 days after the previous 1290 days.

Thusly...
1. "league" of Dan.11 is made starting the first 1260 days period
2. after 1260 days, the daily sacrifice and oblation is ended and the abomination idol is placed in the temple as a replacement. The tribulation upon God's people begins, and the latter half 1260 day countdown begins.
3. Christ returns after the end of the 2nd 1260 days and ends the tribulation.
4. 30 days later the sanctuary is established and cleansed. This will most likely include the time of separation between His sheep and the goats of Matt.25.
5. 45 days later the faithful in Christ are blessed.

Son of Man,
Revelation is the revealing of the sealed scripture in Daniel.
Revelation is when God reveals something to one of His servants. The book of revelation is sealed up tighter than the book of Daniel ever thought of being. It has so much symbolism and different views of the same thing that those of the flesh stay lost in it.

Unsealed by you ???

No by time, history and the lord.

The Dan.12:11 verse is part of the answer to the question raised in verse 6 about how long to the end of these wonders.

The daily oblation is taken away by the Host and his two witnesses. The great tribulation is three and a half years but the first half of the seventieth week was spent by the Messiah who was cut of in the midst of the week.

It takes a revelation from God to understand the revelation from God

Per the Daniel prophecy, the daily sacrifice and oblation is ended when the abomination idol is placed in the temple. And that begins the latter 1260 day period countdown to the end with Christ's return. There is NO association in the Dan.9:23-27 Scripture with Messiah The Prince and the final "one week" of Dan.9:27, except in some men's minds.

It takes a revelation from God to understand the revelation from God

One must learn to read The Scripture as written first.

Sorry veteran the scripture does not say that. It says "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate."

The messiah confirmed his covenant with many for a half of week and then His two witnesses continue His ministry by taking away Gods oblation to man and then shall arise the gospel of jesus according to evil men who will begin to eat human flesh in the name of their jesus and cause all who follow them to be sealed for destruction.

It is not far in the future and you will see what I am saying is true. But in the mean time ask God for His Spirit and Power so that you can make it through by faith in the Lord alone.

Christ Jesus, The Messiah, NEVER confirmed any 'temporary' covenant at His first coming. What Covenant did HE confirm??? The New Covenant, by His Blood about His Kingdom. THAT is what He came preaching to Jews from the start, and that's the Salvation Promise of the Kingdom He was offerring them right then.

That's how we can be SURE that Christ did not come offerring some temporary 7 year covenant that would be 'broken' in the middle of the 7 years. It's how we KNOW the one ending sacrifices and placing the abomination (idol) in that Dan.9:27 IS NOT CHRIST JESUS THE MESSIAH.

Secondly, Messiah is NOT the subject of the "people of the prince" that came and destroyed Jerusalem and the temple in 70 A.D. That destruction was done by PAGAN Rome, NOT CHRISTIANIZED ROME!!! Nor is Christ Messiah the subject of that latter part of Dan.9:27 about the abomination of desolation either!

You're simply throwing out CONFUSION, revealing what about yourself?
