I was talking with one of my neighbors today and he said something about that Biden isn't going to tell us his campaign ideas until he's actually in office. How the heck are people voting for this idiot? It's definitely beyond me. :/

    Maybe it's a good idea.

    Too often politicians over-promise...

No it definitely isn't. People should know ahead of time who they're voting for and who they're supporting. All I've seen from Biden so far is he lies, makes unkept promises, and does absolutely nothing but sit in his basement. Why on earth would somebody want to vote for someone who doesn't do anything but lie? Trump has done a whole lot more in office in the past few years than Biden has ever accomplished of decades of being in office.

I don't think he actually said it, but he definitely seems to be playing the strategy of "Vote for me because I'm not Trump" first and foremost, with the articulation of policies pushed to the background.

That's not what Biden said though. What he actually said was that he won't state his opinion on court-packing until after the election. I googled for news on the rumor that he won't divulge his campaign ideas and nothing came up except for his refusal to reveal his court-packing position.

The Latest: Biden won't divulge court expansion stance now
    By The Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on the 2020 presidential campaign (all times local)

Joe Biden says he won’t reveal under after the Nov. 3 election whether he’d consider adding seats to the Supreme Court.

The Democratic presidential nominee told reporters in Arizona on Thursday that voters will “know my opinion on court packing when the election’s over.” He said answering the hypothetical and politically fraught question would play into President Donald Trump’s hands.

Biden has joined his party’s senators in calling for Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to delay a confirmation vote on Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, until after the election. Barrett would give the court a 6-3 conservative majority.

He did say the voters didn't need to know what he was going to do.

Thank you. That's one of the best answers that I've seen actually and I think that it's the only answer of why he's earning votes. We do more on this forum than he does in office. Whether you're a democrat or a republican or somewhere in between we all at least have to agree on that right?

How the heck does he plan to earn votes then!? Seriously!! First he praises his opposition and now this? He might be over a hundred and eighty years old but I think that even I have a higher IQ than him.

Court packing is a big deal! The fact that Biden refuses to say if he has intentions to enlarge the Supreme Court is a big deal. To say that voters don’t deserve to know shows a lot about him as a candidate, and it’s not good.

Edit: The following article contains info about what Biden said:

Biden Says Voters ‘Don’t Deserve’ To Know Stance On Court Packing

    Andrew SolenderForbes Staff
    Business

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Friday during an interview with KTNV, a local ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, that voters “don’t deserve” to know his stance on expanding the Supreme Court, reiterating that his ongoing refusal to state an opinion on the issue is aimed at not allowing President Trump to define the debate around the Supreme Court.

    KEY FACTS
KTNV reporter Ross DiMattei said court-packing is the “number one thing I’ve been asked about from viewers in the past couple days,” to which Biden responded “well, you’ve been asked by the viewers, who are probably Republicans, who don’t want me continuing to talk about what they’re doing to the court right now.”

“Well sir, don’t the voters deserve to know-” DiMattei began to ask, as Biden interjected “no they don’t deserve,” before asserting “I’m not gonna play [Trump’s] game… he’d love that to be the discussion instead of what he’s doing now.”

The comment comes after Biden said during a trip to Arizona on Thursday that he would not reveal his stance on the issue until after the election because it would grab headlines and draw focus away from Republicans’ efforts to confirm Trump appointee Amy Coney Barrett.

The idea of creating more Supreme Court justices has gained steam among some Democratic lawmakers in response to Republicans’ refusal to give President Obama’s nominee a vote in 2016 and their current push to confirm Barrett.

The Trump campaign has consistently hammered Biden for dodging questions on court packing, with Republicans often accusing him of secretly supporting the policy but withholding his opinion to avoid alienating voters.

    CHIEF CRITIC
“Biden and Harris should answer it,” CNN’s Jake Tapper said after Harris dodged a question on court packing during the vice presidential debate, with CNN commentator and former Obama adviser David Axelrod adding, “They should’ve had a better answer than the non-answer [Harris] gave.”

    CRUCIAL QUOTE
Several top Democrats have poured cold water on the idea of scrapping the legislative filibuster, which would almost definitely be a necessary step to expanding the court. “I don’t believe in doing that,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, told reporters in September. “I think the filibuster serves a purpose. ... I think it’s part of the Senate that differentiates itself.”

    BIG NUMBER
47%. That’s the share of voters in a Washington Examiner/YouGov poll released this week who say Democrats should not expand the court, compared to 34% who say they should – although a considerable majority of Democrats, 60%, say they should while only 18% say they should not. At the same time, 51% oppose the Senate considering Barrett’s nomination before the inauguration, while 42% support it.

Biden Says Voters ‘Don’t Deserve’ to Know His Position on Court Packing

DiMattei said the question of court packing was the “number-one issue” viewers have asked him about.

“Sir, don’t the voters deserve to know…” DiMattei asked.

“No they don’t deserve—I’m not gonna play [President Trump’s] game,” Biden responded, adding that Trump would “love that to be the discussion instead of what he’s doing now.”

Biden said at a Friday press conference that voters would only know his position on court packing after the election.

“You’ll know my opinion of court-packing when the election is over,” Biden said. “Now look, I know—it’s a great question, and I don’t blame you all for asking. But you know the moment I answer that question, the headline in every one of your papers will be about that.”

Court packing means adding judges to a court, and in this case, adding justices to the Supreme Court.

What Does It Mean to Pack the Court?

It is what Never Trump Republicans and Democrats believe Trump is doing by nominating only conservative Justices for the Supreme Court. It will cause the Supreme Court to become unbalanced and it could open the door for these conservative Justices to push conservative political activism.

Yeah well if you want to start talking about things being unbalanced,.. can you tell me why there hasn't been a conservative moderator in the debates so far? Cause it's seeming a little one-sided to me right now. :/

No, I can't tell you why because I don't know the answer.

I suspect the moderators are selected by The Commission of Presidential Debates.

In that case he or she is probably a democrat. Or they're full of democrats if it's actually a group rather than an individual person.

@April_Rose This term refers to ENLARGING the Court by increasing the number of justices, and then loading the court with liberal or conservative judges. Democrat President FDR tried to do this during his tenure as POTUS, but he backed off the idea when there were so many objections.

The Court usually leans one way or the other--left or right, depending on the issue.

Did you read the article I posted? It explains, in detail, what court-packing is. For example... "Court packing means adding judges to a court, and in this case, adding justices to the Supreme Court. The Constitution does not specify how many justices must sit on the bench, so Congress can change the number from the current nine simply by passing a law. If the president signs it, they would then have another seat to fill."

Either way you look at it it seems to be the year of the over-powering Liberals. (No offense to anybody in particular on here,.. just in general.)
