The position of the church and society at large is mistaken as to what Jesus was quoted as saying in the gospels. IMHO
Let's discuss.

Questions:
1) What did Jesus actually say?
2) Why did he say it?
3) If we got this wrong, where do we go from here?

The position of the church and society at large is that adultery (sexual immorality) is grounds for divorce.
And they will quote Jesus as an authority on this. But is Jesus being misquoted? Yes, I believe so.
The biggest problem is the disconnect we have with the culture that Jesus was speaking to.

The church teaches that the only grounds for divorce is adultery. (sexual immorality)
But that is not what Jesus actually said.

You simply don't know what... in the world you are talking about.

Jesus gave the 'spirit' of the law against adultery. He did not abolish that law, He only showed its position from one's heart.

Adultery per God's law means FORNICATION outside the marriage, NOT sexual immorality like your stupid post says!

A spouse who is caught in FORNICATION OUTSIDE THE MARRIAGE is guilty of Adultery, and per God's law, the other spouse is LEGALLY entitled to a divorce. The only other reason for the end of a marriage per God's law is death of one of the spouses. Jesus did not change that.

What about the woman found guilty of Adultery which Jesus forgave her sin? Well, if one believes Lord Jesus of Nazareth was just another human like us, it would raise that kind of question indeed of why He forgave the adulteress. But because He is GOD The Son, He has the POWER to forgive sin. So who can go against His Power to forgive?

Yet in the courts, this is not so, because Jesus is no longer walking this earth to be in that situation with forgiving an adulterous woman. Instead today, we can get forgiveness unto our 'spirit' for breaking God's laws, but we still may suffer a penalty per man's court system which God has ordained per Romans 13.

The Law of Christ in discipleship is to every born again of water and of the Holy Ghost.

For whom GOD have brought together no one should separate them, the 'golden rule'.

To GOD those who 'live in' and have 'sexual relationship' with one another, are considered 'married'.

When these couple separate one day and marry 'another' even legally by man's law with certificate, but to GOD one commits 'adultery'.

And likewise the ones who marry them legally on the other hand to GOD, commits 'adultery' as well.

Jesus did allow 'divorce' on the grounds of 'fornication' or 'unfaithful in marriage', and which can escalate to 'adultery'.

Looks like the ones who're divorced are to remain single until their death, or be reconciled with their first spouse.

That is if the first spouse is not remarried to another after the divorce, or willing to forgive.

On the other hand, as long as the first spouse is still alive, no one can just divorce and marry another.

For example, when Rebecca was brought to Isaac, he immediately took her into his tent, and was there a marriage agreement and ceremony?

Furthermore we read about the Samaritan woman before meeting Christ, the ones she were with not her husbands.

Merely fornicate and commit adultery her life and upon meeting Jesus and His words she realized and confessed to her people.

Apparently they knew her and believed not in her but believed the words she uttered, about the promised one and the things he said about her.

Where there's nothing new happening openly in the West of the democrats today as Christendom nations, same fornication and adultery even after experiencing Christ.

There's still time to minister and witness to them to come into repentance and saved, or those saved confess their sins and stop sinning.

Apparently because of their fathers of faith and by their blood who formed these nations, they as the 'seed' are supposedly the beacon of light for all the other unbelieving nations to be drawn to.

But on the contrary are withdrawn themselves and ridicule the hypocrisy and as a result GOD is 'mocked', and generally to them all are Christians.

The true church within these supposedly Christian nations are reaching out ministering and witnessing the Gospel to them.

And there are those who turn back in repentance, but majority choose sin and darkness, and GOD's going to allow that age to come.

The same age where Christianity will be put to the test to divide between the true church and lukewarm church, and there shall be 'betrayal' of one another. (Biblically, the 'falling away' shall come)

The true church in faith to the Word of GOD that shall withstand the age of darkness until the rule of anti-Christ the messiah of the people of darkness, even 'beheaded', included in the 'first resurrection'.
