Dire Situation at Fukushima in Japan

The future of Japan is hanging in the balance. There is currently a spent fuel pool (SFP) containing 1500 fuel rods atop reactor 4 at the Fukushima nuclear reactor facility in Japan. The SFP and its contents are situated fifty feet above ground, and are extremely heavy. The building has already been severely damaged by a small nuclear explosion at reactor 3. According to this source, if an earthquake causes the SFP to collapse, it would be the end of Japan, and probably affect the entire world (be sure to turn on closed captioning by clicking the red icon in the lower right that says 'CC'):

According to this source, all it would take is for the SPF to crack and lose its cooling water to produce the same result (be sure to turn on closed captioning by clicking the red icon in the lower right that says 'CC'):

I think that some of the dire events in the book of Revelation will be caused by nuclear accidents and incidents. It is unbelieveable what man has gotten himself into. We all need to be prayerful about this because it affects us all. Honestly, I don't know how to pray about it.

Japan lawmakers warned about Spent Fuel Pool No. 4 during testimony of former ambassador

Japan’s former Ambassador to Switzerland, Mr. Mitsuhei Murata, was invited to speak at the Public Hearing of the Budgetary Committee of the House of Councilors on March 22, 2012, on the Fukushima nuclear power plants accident. Before the Committee, Ambassador Murata strongly stated that if the crippled building of reactor unit 4—with 1,535 fuel rods in the spent fuel pool 100 feet (30 meters) above the ground—collapses, not only will it cause a shutdown of all six reactors but will also affect the common spent fuel pool containing 6,375 fuel rods, located some 50 meters from reactor 4. In both cases the radioactive rods are not protected by a containment vessel; dangerously, they are open to the air. This would certainly cause a global catastrophe like we have never before experienced. He stressed that the responsibility of Japan to the rest of the world is immeasurable. Such a catastrophe would affect us all for centuries. Ambassador Murata informed us that the total numbers of the spent fuel rods at the Fukushima Daiichi site excluding the rods in the pressure vessel is 11,421

There is modern nuclear power plants that are safe as houses, so why does the world still use this old backward rubbish.
The new modern type use the spent fuel and we have over 150 years worth of it stored and when all of it is spent, it is only active for many less years.
Japan has one new type.
And if it was in used with this disaster there would of not been a problem at all. as you can shut it down etc etc.

Red forest appeared in Fukushima

Apparently, a "red forest" has begun to appear in Fukushima, just as in Chernobyl. (311 in the link above refers to 3/11, the date of the accident)

The Red Forest (Ukrainian: Рудий ліс, Russian: Рыжий лес), formerly the Worm Wood Forest, refers to the trees in the 10 km² surrounding the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The name ‘Red Forest’ comes from the ginger-brown colour of the pine trees after they died following the absorption of high levels of radiation from the Chernobyl accident on April 26, 1986. In the post-disaster cleanup operations, the Red Forest was bulldozed and buried in ‘waste graveyards’. The site of the Red Forest remains one of the most contaminated areas in the world today. Revelation 8:7 describes the 1st trumpet judgment in which many trees burn up. The 3rd trumpet mentions something called Wormwood:

The Greek words αψινθος and αψινθον signify bitterness. Absinthe is a bitter drink made from wormwood and other bitter ingredients and derives its name from αψινθον (Ansinthe word origin: 1605-15 < F < L absinthium wormwood < Gk apsínthion). It has been claimed that the name Chernobyl (Chornobyl) means wormwood. Chornobyl is a Ukrainian word for the plant mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) and means 'black grass'. The former Ukrainian city of Chornobyl was named after this plant, which covers the surrounding steppes.

Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is called Bitter Polyn. And while chornobyl is called Common Polyn, both are bitter. αψινθος and αψινθον refer to bitterness, not necessarily herbs, and not necessarily Artemisia vulgaris or Artemisia absinthium. Those botancial names weren't assigned to specific plants until a thousand and more years after this prophecy was written. So the fact that wormwood is technically not chornobyl is irrelevant because for the intent of this prophecy they are similar enough, the only difference being their degrees of bitterness.

Very strange stuff going on. These prophecies could very well describe ecological damage due to fallout from nuclear accidents.

This will be something to watch. The book of Revelation describes events in which much sea life is destroyed. Not saying that the following links are describing fulfillment of those events, but radiological pollution may be the mechanism involved in that destruction at some future date.

An "unexplainable" epidemic of nearly 1000 (so far) sick sea lion pups is occurring in California. These pups were born last year. My thoughts are that it is related to the radioactive contamination that has leaked, and is still leaking, from Fukushima into the Pacific Ocean.

Both NOAA and The National Marine Fisheries have declared an Unusual Mortality Event over the death of so many sea lion pups in California. These declarations are rarely done. It is estimated that the mortality could be as high as 70%.

Perhaps they have ingested so much radiation that it's destroying their young bodies, or mother seals were genetically damaged by radiation, and their pups didn't develop properly?

Thank GOD you are in Okinawa instead of further north. My heart goes out to the Christians in Fukushima. Please don't eat any seafood. I know that sounds impractical considering where you live, but... And yes, I believe this is just the beginning of something truly awful.

Okay, that's enough of the scare tactics. We don't need more doomsday prophecies, and this is a bad interpretation of Apsinthos. While there IS a connection between the Greek word "apsinthos" and the alcoholic beverage "absinthe," you're barking up the wrong tree on this trumpet judgment.

These verses paint a VERY different point of view. They are about a meteorite that enters earth's atmosphere and sputters as it descends, emitting chemicals that poison the fresh waters. They turn the waters green and alcoholic with such a high potency (> 100 proof) that it kills the men who drink it. This is not unheard of and is why the green liquor "absinthe" has been illegal in the USA.

You can belittle Mr. Rosenberger if you choose (although it is not a nice thing to do, it is your choice), but he is RIGHT! There have been many advances in nuclear energy since the days of Chernobyl. Fortunately, people DO learn from their mistakes. Those "spent" nuclear piles are not truly "spent!" There are still significant amounts of radiation energy within them to contribute to the energy recovery processes in development. It might be wise to build a lead-lined, concrete housing for them, but the half-lives of these by-products vary per material and the rads they emit are much less than their younger, potent concentrations. By not disposing of these by-products properly, they may have contributed to the pollution of modern nations, but it is the POLLUTION, not the threat of inadvertent nuclear explosions or sudden irradiation, about which scientists warn.

For the first part, unless you can provide some evidence that a meteor can turn water into > 100 proof alcohol, this is just wild speculation. Also absinthe poisons because of what it's made of, not the alcohol content.

For the second, all of the radioactive contamination has been due to 3 reactor meltdowns. All of the stored material onsite is still intact.
