Philippians 2:2 - Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be LIKEMINDED, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Of ONE MIND, ONE ACCORD, LIKEMINDED...
Ephesians 4:3 - "Endeavoring to keep the UNITY of the SPIRIT in the bond of peace."
Philippians 1:27 - "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the GOSPEL OF CHRIST that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast IN ONE SPIRIT, striving together for the faith of THE GOSPEL;
There IS only ONE Spirit whom we Christians follow...if we truly are following the Spirit of the only true and living God.
Our God has many characteristics! He is loving, yes He is. He is also jealous, wrathful, long suffering, righteous, all in all "good". He JUDGES also. Jesus had allot to say about that and, I will not quote the many verses here...y'all can look 'em up! (how's that @Mayflower ?

If ever there was a time to be discerning for us, it is now. Love has turned cold, people have that 'form of Godliness, but deny the true power...'
If one is emotional or tends towards the emotional, (like myself at times) we can miss the hard sayings. Or, just pass them over because our God is GOOD! He would never do that!!! But, why then did Jesus speak more about hell than heaven?? Why so very many warnings from Jesus Himself and many more from the writers of the NT?
We CANNOT leave our "first love".
1 Timothy 4:16 - "Take heed unto thyself, and UNTO THE DOCTRINE; CONTINUE IN THEM: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee."
James Chapter 5
19 "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;"
20 "Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."
The gospel is simple, and there is ONLY one Jesus,
2 Corinthians 11:3-4
And, one gospel:
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
Galatians 1:8
and only ONE Spirit:
"There is one body, and ONE SPIRIT, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;"

1 Corinthians 6:17
"But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit."
Why would anyone want to believe a lie? It is difficult to understand how anyone could openly and knowingly "believe" an un-truth. How can anyone know God?? Impossible! But, He reveals Himself as He wills to whom He wills. His character is given to us through His word and, we know that He NEVER changes...what an awesome confidence we have in Him!!! He does NOT change and we can ALWAYS depend on that. Such confidence :)
No need to be a scholar or a college educated person to understand and know His will when it comes to false teaching, we pray and hope for discernment...He DOES give it!
Lord, please give your people discernment to know truth from lies. Give us all the desire only to please you and to desire only TRUTH. It is futile otherwise.

People are falling away from the true church. I see it with folks I know personally. Some of them would, and do condone sin...especially sexual sin.
This world is sure changing quickly. We are looking at two more things to happen before Christ's return (from what I understand). First, the "great apostacy" and the revealing the "man of perdition". So far, the great apostacy is pretty clear to me.
Do the will of the Father, listen to His Son, amen.
