Do Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 point to the same identical beginning?

Genesis 1:

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
John 1:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Chinese version of Genesis 1:

1a 起初
literally rise-beginning or developmental beginning.

John 1:

1a 太初
literally principal-beginning or something like super beginning.

The Chinese verses point to different beginnings.

Angels existed before the earth or man. God asked Job in Job 38:

4 Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. . . 7 when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
The Word existed before angels, John 1:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
John 1:1 speaks of before creation.
