Every member in this thread and on this forum will claim they believe everything Jesus taught, but most of the theology that is argued for and spread around here shows there are more "Christians" who actually don't believe most of what Jesus actually taught.
Jesus said He did not come to start a new religion and that living by the Law was a moral imperative for His followers(Matt. 5:17-20). "Christians" here say the opposite is true. Jesus said a truly born again person will be a Spirit being that is invisible to human eyes like the wind(Jhn. 3:8). "Christians" here think they are already born again, even though they can clearly be seen by human beings.
Jesus said God must be worshiped in spirit and truth(Jhn. 4:24). "Christians" here think they can worship God any way they want and that He's obligated to accept it just because their intentions are good. Jesus said nobody other than Himself was going to Heaven(Jhn. 3:13). "Christians" here think people go there after they die, and that Jesus is going to take them there when He returns. Jesus said He would be dead for a full 72 hr. period(Matt. 12:40), yet "Christians" here say He was dead for under 48 hrs.
Jesus said the Sabbath was made for all of humanity(Mar. 2:28), yet "Christians" here say it was made only for the Jews/Israelites. Jesus says the gospel is about the soon-coming government of God that will he administered throughout the world(Mar. 4:30-32), yet "Christians" here say the gospel is about Him. Those are just some of the many examples that proves most people really don't believe Christ, no matter how much they claim to be part of His flock. If they did, their theology wouldn't consistently disagree with everything He actually taught.
