I was told by someone, I don't remember who. That we have some authority over angels. Is this true?

We are made a little lower than the Angels I dont recall any scripture that gives us power over the Angels we are given power over evil spirits. Most Angels are of God and we have no need to have power over themThe fallen angels, which will return, We dont have so called power over them but we have Free Will given us by God to not believe their lies. God has foretold us they will be coming and will deceive the whole world cept those who have the seal of God

Well, I'm of this mindset. If we have any power over the angels, we'd have to have the mind of Christ. If we are so in tune with God that being his child, our will is really His will. Alas, we are in our fallen Adamic state (we are dying) and still of the flesh. In our glorified state will receive such powers because we will be like Christ. That's why Paul states we will judge the Cosmos and angels. In the meantime, they minister to us according to the will of God and His purpose (we'd definitely mess things up if we gave the orders, trust me)The spiritual world is likened to the physical and vice versa. In the spiritual we have God, in the physical it's man. Then under God are the angels (many types, BTW), in the physical its the animal kingdom.Yes, ultimately, I believe we are higher than the angels because we are the sons of God and as such are of the same "species" (elohim) so-to-speak. Angels are not there. They are created beings, a son of God is a begotten being. There's a difference between creation and procreation. But again, we are now offspring of Adam, and in and of ourselves we are fleshy, weak beings. (I have an interesting theology regarding animals, their resurrection, and angelic beings in the world to come, but here I am addressing mankind.)
