Worldwide Islam coming?
Revelation 20:4 (NKJV)
Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.
But Islam loves beheading Christians! The last execution by Guillotine in France took place in 1977.[1] Who's to say the Beast Empire won't bring it out of retirement? John the Baptist was executed by beheading,[2] centuries before Islam's founding in the 7th century AD.[3] Nothing new under the sun.[4]

It's interesting how Islam is running rampant and growing stronger, and yet Christians choose to ignore. And so did all of these countries.[1] Muslims do not own a patent nor have a monopoly on beheading. At any time, a modern country can reintroduce beheading as a method of execution. Given your claimed age of 72 years on your user profile, surely you can agree that society can change pretty drastically in such short amounts of time, right?

In no way am I denying the reality of Muslim-on-Christian violence and persecution. I am just saying, the Muslims are far from the only group of people capable of beheading people.
ISIL has declined in territory since their peak in May 2015.[1][2] A number of Middle Eastern countries have been classified as failed states since the beginning of the Arab Spring in 2011.[3] The Gulf nations are also financially hurting because of COVID-19 and low oil prices.[5] They could potentially deplete their financial wealth within the next fifteen years.[4] The countries of Syria,[6] Libya,[7] and Yemen[8] are still experiencing civil war.
So while Islamic terrorism is still a recognized global problem, actual Muslim countries are NOT growing stronger, only weaker. While it is mostly speculation, I would say they're additions of a growing list of nations looking for a certain world leader with all the answers...[9]

Greetings, Rene Loup, and welcome to the forum.
Just as you say society can change in a short order of time, so can the fortunes of jihadist Islam, and you will very likely see a great increase in the rise of Christian beheadings and martyrdoms at the hands of Muslims in 2021, and the reemergence of violent Islamic states and factions in the world once again.
But out of curiosity: Who do you think the "Beast empire" is going to be?
Blessings in Christ,

Currently, I believe it will most likely start in Europe and spread throughout the world. However, there are certain Books of the Bible I have not read myself yet and used to be over-reliant on prophecy teachers to do so for me. It was a very big mistake. After disillusionment with a number of these teachers, especially the politically motivated ones, I am reading the Bible at a pace my mentor recommended to me. Because of all this, I am now expecting my views on Prophecy to change over time.
The reason I asked is because one's views on eschatology effect what he believes is coming. Backlit (who posted previously) is a good friend and a credit to this community, but he and I are in disagreement where Islam is concerned. He believes the central player in the fulfillment of end-time prophecy will be Rome. I believe it will be Islam. Both will play a part certainly, but what religion one believes will play the central role colors how he believes world events will play out.
Rather than listen to either of us, however, you are correct: You should read the entirety of scripture yourself and let the Lord teach you in these matters, first and foremost.
God bless, and welcome once again to Christianity Board. Your posts tend to be substantive, which I appreciate.
Speaking from personal experience, NEVER underestimate the power of an echo chamber. The best forums are the ones that allow diversity of thought and respectful discussion and debate.[1][2][3] My mentor taught me to exchange ideas instead of trying to win during debates.
