Don't Be Deceived About The Babylon Harlot City

Lot of folks today have sunken into deception by men's theories concocted against the Christian West for pointing to the Babylon Harlot of Revelation. Just who... first all would love nothing more than to do a character assassination against the Christian nations like in the Americas and in Europe? Those deceived, do they even bother to think about that when they listen to false prophets claim the Babylon Harlot is some city in America or in Europe?

And at the end of Revelation 17, we know the Babylon Harlot is about a "great city", as written. That means, NOT the Christian religion, NOT a pope, NOT a bishop, NOT a false Christ, NOT America, NOT Europe, not even the coming "antichrist" for the end. It's a certain "great city".

And we are told the "woman" (harlot) sits over "waters" that mean peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues, she also has ten horns and seven heads per Revelation 17:1-3. So what's the ten horns and seven heads mentioned back in Revelation 13? We are shown the ten horns are ten kings, and the seven heads are "seven mountains" (i.e., REGIONS OF THE EARTH).

So already, by that information, it reveals the harlot "great city" RULES OVER THE ENTIRE WORLD.

Is there already a "great city" TODAY that rules over ALL NATIONS AND PEOPLES? NO!!! not yet!

So why do some... men make up lies with falsely pointing to a pope, or to America, or to Europe, etc., about that Babylon Harlot city?...

The REASON:
Those who created the ideas to point the Babylon Harlot to a pope, or to America, or to Europe, or even to Christianity, etc., do that in hopes that you will be DECEIVED about where our Lord Jesus' Book of Revelation is ACTUALLY POINTING TO!

For the coming tribulation, just where do God's two witnesses show up to prophesy against the beast for 1260 days?

Rev 11:1-8
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

John sees a vision of a temple, and is told to go measure it, and those who worship in it. But leave out measure of the court outside that temple, for the Gentiles will tread the holy city for 42 months.

That 42 months is the SAME timing per Revelation 13 that the "dragon" is given power over ALL nations and peoples for the END. It is equal to the 1260 days the next verses reveal when God's two witnesses come and prophesy against that.


3 And I will give power unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Who is the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit? That ought to be easy to know; it is Satan himself. He is the "king" and "angel of the bottomless pit" of Revelation 9, so that was supposed to be understood before getting here to Revelation Chapter 11. This reveals "great tribulation" timing for the end, the time when Lord Jesus warned about the placing of the "abomination of desolation" idol in the temple, and warned of a coming psuedo-Christ they will say is Christ (Matthew 24:15-26).


8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

There it is though, a passage directly from our Lord Jesus Christ given through His Apostle John. IT IS JERUSALEM that His Revelation is pointing to as that Babylon Harlot "great city"!


This is why the orthodox Jews in today's Jerusalem already have the materials ready to build their 3rd temple, and startup old covenant worship again, because those still reject Jesus of Nazareth as The Christ (Messiah). So DO NOT BELIEVE WITH THEM, for God is going to allow them to be fooled into worshiping a PSEUDO-CHRIST, and false supernatural messiah that will work great signs and wonders in Jerusalem, even raining fire down from Heaven in the sight of men.

And if you want to know WHY... God put the Babylon Harlot label on JERUSALEM for the end of this world when that false Messiah shows up, then study the Ezekiel 16 Chapter where He long ago called Jerusalem a Harlot!

If you cant get the Red Beast and the Whore separated... I don't have much faith in any of your other analysis.
How does Jerusalem work with chapter 18? All the sea trade that is missed out on when the Whore is destroyed.
Who destroys the Whore then? The Red Beast is not the same one that you reference. Different locations and descriptions (subtle differences you might have missed).

Parallel descriptions don't necessarily denote the same city.

The Roman Empire didnt exist to be guilty of the Prophets blood seen below, Jerusalem did.

The idea of the "great city" (Babylon Harlot) sitting as a 'queen' is a direct pointer to being MARRIED, but to whom? What Bible Scripture points to marriage of a city? Ezekiel 16 with GOD's pointing to His marrying JERUSALEM! This is also shown about the new Jerusalem which is Christ's future Bride per Revelation 21.
