Watchtower 2010 3/15 pp. 24-28 One Flock, One Shepherd: 13 Jesus referred to this new covenant on the night before his death when he said: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in your behalf.” (Luke 22:20; 1 Cor. 11:25) Are all Christians included in this new covenant? No. Some, like the apostles who drank of that cup that evening, are participants in the new covenant.* Jesus made another covenant with them to rule together with him in his Kingdom. (Luke 22:28-30) They will share with Jesus in his Kingdom.—Luke 22:15.

Bible Teach book 207-208 Only those in the new covenant – that is, those who have the hope of going to heaven – should partake of the bread and wine. God convicts such ones that thy have been selected to be heavenly kings.

"Jesus is the mediator only for anointed Christians....The 'great crowd'... is not in that new covenant." Watchtower 4/1/1979, page 31.

Only a limited number are born again. The great crowd does not need to be born again. Their life is earthly, not heavenly. Watchtower 4/1/1988, p. 18

"He said: 'Unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God!' (John 3:3-5)...The 'other sheep' do not need any such rebirth, for their goal is life everlasting in the restored earthly Paradise as subjects of the Kingdom." Watchtower 2/15/1986, p. 14

Those who desire life in the New Order must come into a right relationship with the organization. Watchtower 11/15, /1981, pp. 16,17

Jws teach that their own physical death pays for their sins. - their Jesus only died for Adam's sin.

Everytime they'd get together the JW would try to convert them.

They were Baptists. So,not a chance.
One day the dad was fed up. He asked their JW friend about their fabled 144,000 elect. And if that friend was counted in that number.

The friend lamented with a, no.

So the dad asked, what then was their (the JW friend) point?

No answer. That was the last that person broached the subject.

Usually, they are very excited not to have " the heavenly hope". There is no desire to be with Christ.
A true believer has zero chance of becoming a Jw. They are sealed with God's Spirit.

It's the on the fence, lukewarm, "I go to church on Sundays, don't read bible much, pray now and again," who are at risk of their deceptions. Those who are heavily burdened with sins who never heard the gospel are also at risk.
Folks who tend to be self-righteous know it alls are at an extreme risk.
They use well known mind control methods and it's very real.
Many Christians think of them as just another christian denomination, but anyone who looks deeply sees it is not Christian at all. That's the point of deceit, it's deceiving!

First-I do not believe that all Jews are spiritual Jews. Spiritual Israel is made up of both Jewish CHRISTIANS and GENTILE Christians. Jesus made the two ONE FLOCK.
It's impossible to deny that the Gospel was given first only to the Jews of that time, but only some accepted it. (1st fold or flock)
And because of their rejection of Jesus- the gospel was then given to the Gentiles ( 2nd fold or flock)
THAT IS what happened. I have no idea how anyone could disagree with that.
Remember Cornelius going to Peter where Peter had the vision about Gentiles/unclean? Gentiles were not God's people. Were were not a part of their fold.
Paul was sent to the Gentiles..
How can you not understand this? Jesus made Jew and Gentile ONE IF they believe in HIM. Surely you would agree if you have read the bible! Keiw, man lies. The scriptures don't. Just trust what the scriptures say.

Keiw, I know what and how you were taught to think. But they disregard the scriptures as a whole. Please believe only God's Word and in context- ALL of it.

As to your Q on Luke 22 have you read this? 1 Cor 6:2-3
"Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!"

"if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;" 2 Tim 2:12
(endure- yes we have to remain in the faith.)

It's important to know that the word, "upon" there is epi in Greek. It has a few meanings- on, over, upon. That verse alone cannot decide a thing because of that one word. We have to go to the rest of the scriptures to know which definition is right.

All believers are "saints" I know the word you use is "elect". Doesn't matter. All believers in Christ are saints / elect in the bible. Catholics say only they have saints. Jws say only they have elect. It means the same thing. The words saint comes from "sanctified". All believers are sanctified. Paul said that many times. JWs are doing what Catholic do by believing their pope. We really need to be careful and believe God and not man who is wrong a lot.

It is not arrogance to say we are saints. It is all of God- He does this in us. it's called being sanctified as we learn and listen to the Spirit of God who loves in us. He does it all! We just heed the Spirit.
That verse ! Cor 1:2-3 above, says (saints, elect, believers) will judge THE WORLD.+ (angels)
Who is "the world"? ALL unbelievers + rebellious angels. sounds crazy I know. Paul said that we would be surprised at all that God has planned for those who love His Son. But here is where I stop. I don't have all of the answers abt Rev., and I'm very cautious of anyone who says they do. One thing I am very sure of is that anyone who does not teach the gospel truthfully as it is written in context- I would never believe a thing they say about eschatology. First-I do not believe that all Jews are spiritual Jews. Spiritual Israel is made up of both Jewish CHRISTIANS and GENTILE Christians. Jesus made the two ONE FLOCK.
It's impossible to deny that the Gospel was given first only to the Jews of that time, but only some accepted it. (1st fold or flock)
And because of their rejection of Jesus- the gospel was then given to the Gentiles ( 2nd fold or flock)
THAT IS what happened. I have no idea how anyone could disagree with that.
Remember Cornelius going to Peter where Peter had the vision about Gentiles/unclean? Gentiles were not God's people. Were were not a part of their fold.
Paul was sent to the Gentiles..

As to your Q on Luke 22 have you read this? 1 Cor 6:2-3
"Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!"

It's important to know that the word, "upon" there is epi in Greek. It has a few meanings- on, over, upon. That verse alone cannot decide a thing because of that one word. We have to go to the rest of the scriptures to know which definition is right.

All believers are "saints" I know the word you use is "elect". Doesn't matter. All believers in Christ are saints / elect in the bible. Catholics say only they have saints. Jws say only they have elect. It means the same thing. The words saint comes from "sanctified". All believers are sanctified. Paul said that many times. JWs are doing what Catholic do by believing their pope. We really need to be careful and believe God and not man who is wrong a lot.

It is not arrogance to say we are saints. It is all of God- He does this in us. it's called being sanctified as we learn and listen to the Spirit of God who loves in us. He does it all! We just heed the Spirit.

Who is "the world"? ALL unbelievers + rebellious angels. sounds crazy I know. Paul said that we would be surprised at all that God has planned for those who love His Son. But here is where I stop. I don't have all of the answers abt Rev., and I'm very cautious of anyone who says they do. One thing I am very sure of is that anyone who does not teach the gospel truthfully as it is written in context- I would never believe a thing they say about eschatology.
