It is what the bible teaches.

Can you show me where God has forgiven anyone who has not first repented?

Good grief what kind of Bible do you read!!!
The God you choose to see in the N.T. is not the God that I see.
Take of your blinkered vision and read it again...from Matthew - Hebrews....
Just for starters we have the man at the pool of Bethesda ..all he was occupied in doing was trying to get into the water.
Jesus says- " Which is easier to say? Thy sins be forgiven you , or arise, take up thy bed and walk..."

Read the Book again...and try to forget whatever the legalistic teacher filled your head with.

That one I had forgotten.

So lets get what the gospel is.

Is it a gift offered to all and sundry with no conditions attached.

Or is there a condition of repentance?

Yes in the bible God requires that sinners repent before he forgives them. This is found in the OT and the new.

Peter preaching on the day of penticost, said ' Repent and be baptised for the forgiveness of sins.
John the baptist preparing the way for Jesus preach, 'repent.'
Paul in Romans 2v4 do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

It seems very 'Christian' when parents of a murdered child say that they forgive the murder.

But it is not what God does.

Worse it places an intolerable burden on people when they are most vunerable, to forgive a crime against them while they are still coming to terms with the horrors inflected upon them.

Our example is that of Jesus. When faced with unimaginable horrors inflected upon us or faced by casuly crulty of an aquintance or friend.
We pass it on to God.
Like Jesus we ask God to deal with the situation.

How did the Gadarene "repent?" How did the Leapers "repent?" How did the various blind people "repent?" How did the man let down through the roof "repent?" And the list goes on and on. Occasionally, Jesus even came right out and told them that by being healed, they were forgiven. And the woman caught in adultery didn't even have to be physically healed to receive forgiveness.

Don't End Your Life as an Unforgiving, Biter, Vindictive Person. How Sad!!
Matthew 6:14
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.

I seen that happen with a mate that I knew his whole life, nothing I could do about it and he was encouraged by another atheist to be a idiot like that too the end, even to his wife and brother, who never did him any wrong at all.

I am against organ transplants now, his wife who's job is in transplants for 20 so years says that plenty of people with transplants go out like that, full of only malice only hating all around them that truly do love them.
So I don't think transplants are Gods will at all now.

Hate the Sin but one should give grace to love a truly repented sinner, but if one is not into repentance at all, well what's truly to love about that, there sins are still retained. we should turn from such people and not have such in our lives, because they are only a curse.

The people who came against Jesus, who knew who he was and still persisted are not forgiven at all, Jesus said of they who do not know what they do were forgiven but did not say all. do we see that all are forgiven written in the Bible.
